Moral Alignment Test

LOL I got:

Chaotic Evil
-

Hallelujah. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to be the only evil one.

Now. When do we start to take over the world? Denny's at 5 for coffee, to begin building our nefarious plans? We can sit by the back door, so we can slip out without paying.

Oh my. I always knew you were secretly a psychopath. ;)

Uh oh, my secret is out. :2razz:

But if you look at it, chaotic evil does jive with the libertarian philosophy since it combines self interest with pure freedom. the part about which I dont agree with is that it says you are out to destroy beauty and life, I would say not necessarily- one can always covet stuff like that rather than destroy it.

Let's take out the moral fools in this party first, I'll backstab all the lawful good ones, you kill the rest. We'll meet up at the inn at nightfall and divvy up the coins and the rest of the loot we take from their dead bodies, oh and rip the teeth out of their corpses too, there might be gold fillings in there. Dont cheat on me though, if one gold piece is missing I shall skewer you too. :2razz:

Chaotic neutral. I feel like some of the family questions threw my result, but to where I suppose is up for interpretation.

Like I would let you know if I took the gold teeth. Hmph. But I'm on board with the rest. Finally - a respite from the boredom if this tedious, day-to-day, soccer mom life. :D :D

I'd say chaotic good is more libertarian. Libertarians aren't evil. We look out for our self-interest and want personal liberty/autonomy, sure, but we don't seek to hurt others or step on people in our goals to become better.

Stop making excuses for your psychopathy. :2razz:

My score was 27 True Neutral v. 25 chaotic good. The description of True Neutral doesn't sound like me at all either. Oh well, maybe I messed up one of the questions.

I got, "Replace your front ball joints immediately".

Yeah, you always struck me as a chaotic neutral/good.

Wasnt hard to figure out the right answers to get chaotic evil.

Speak for yourself, lady. Libertarians can be whatever they want to be so if I wanna be evil, I shall be badass evil! :sword:

People will answer correctly in this wee test, but how many will fall off the morality wagon in real life?

You Are:

Neutral Good

Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

True Neutral-*A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Usually I get neutral or chaotic good on these things

But.. I'm a mutha ****in druid

I think my answers on stuff like this tend to be more bleak than my reactions in reality.

I'm just unbearable in real life.

Lawful Good

Lawful Good- A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment when it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.

Why, everyone. It's a bumpy ride. It's really not about whether or not you will fall. It's all about what you do when you do.

Neutral Good.

Creatures of neutral good alignment believe that there must be some regulation in combination with freedoms if the best is to be brought to the world--the most beneficial conditions for living things in general and intelligent creatures in particular. Creatures of this alignments see the cosmos as a place where law and chaos are merely tools to use in bringing life, happiness, and prosperity to all deserving creatures. Order is not good unless it brings this to all; neither is randomness and total freedom desirable if it does not bring such good. (1)

Neutral goods value both personal freedom and adherence to laws. They feel that too many laws may unnecessarily restrict the freedom of good beings. They also believe that too much freedom may not protect society as a whole and encourage counterproductive divisions and in-fighting. They promote governments which hold broad powers, but do not interfere in the day-to-day lives of their citizens

Greetings, lizzie. :2wave:

I also got Neutral Good.

I would expect very few, based on the members here, whom I expect are more serious-minded than the average human. Among the general population, I would expect that a considerable percentage may not live up to their own standards, as they believe they are.

Damn, I think I might be the only chaotic good on this whole forum.

I got Chaotic Neutral. At first glance I thought it was a bit odd (even considering the well-documented ridiculousness of many of the questions), but checking out the details of the alignment make it seem a little more logical.

"Chaotic neutral is the philosophy that the pursuit of liberty and freedom is a desirable end in and of itself. It is a philosophy of pure equitistic individualism. This philosophy holds that the best way for all beings to pursue a rational self-interest is in a society devoid of social order. By putting the needs of the individual ahead of the needs of the state or social order, each being can advance its own self-interest with a minimum of interference from others. ... The ideal government for this alignment is an minimalist state or anarchy supporting a social order in which they are allowed maximum freedom. Whether the social order supports altruistic actions or egoistic actions is of no concern to the followers of this alignment. Chaotic neutral beings want the power of the state to be as weak as possible, or preferably, non-existent. Chaotic neutrals generally support justice systems that allow maximum freedom for individuals to pursue their own personal agendas. "

Pretty spot on, I must say. I also enjoyed the so-called "Ten Commandments" for a chaotic neutral religion:

  1. You shall lie to promote your freedom.
  2. You shall not kill the innocent.
  3. You shall not murder.
  4. You shall help the needy if such action promotes your freedom.
  5. You shall honor no authority above yourself.
  6. You shall break the law whenever convenient.
  7. You shall not betray others unless your life is in jeopardy.
  8. You shall not aid enemies of freedom or those who promote law.
  9. You shall pursue pleasure.
  10. You shall promote unlimited freedom for yourself.

Based on the Dungeons & Dragon's moral alignment chart, this quiz will tell you where you fall in. An explanation of the chart and a more in-depth explanation of each alignment can be found on the same site as the quiz on the left side of the screen.

I got True Neutral which seems to fit really well. I don't align myself with anything, not the law, not good, not evil, nothing. I'm very, very protective of my family and friends and would do anything to help them out and would never betray them for money, but am mistrusting of strangers outside of my sphere. I'm not one to die for a cause, I'll always pack up my family and move somewhere better or avoid conflict at any chance possible. I think people who are really committed to causes usually end up dying while those who work a little more on self-preservation often end up living.
