Your choice. Explanation's a plus.

If you mean Biblican end times, no. I don't believe that a "resurrection", "second coming", or similar event will take place. As for end times, as in humanity doing something utterly stupid, and causing a catastrophic situation, that wouldn't surprise me a bit.

More a matter of when than if. IMO in the history of the earth we're going to be a relatively short lived species.

I believed in the second coming of Jesus Christ and Judgment Day.

Same.

Now just to be sure we're clear, I don't necessarily subscribe to the Tim LaHaye version. I don't think anyone fully understands eschatology 100%.

I doubt the species will be short-lived. I expect that a small number might survive and eventually our numbers would be significant once again.

Probably so, we're like bacteria hard to wipe us out totally.

If you mean religious end-times, absolutely not, it's idiotic. There may come a time when we wipe ourselves out, or some natural disaster takes us down, but that's about as far as it goes.

Don't know and don't much care.

I sure as shoot don't believe in some (IMO) fictional book that some guy/gal wrote a long time ago (probably just to get laid) telling of some future 'end times'.

Now, could humanity do themselves in? Sure...why not?

Once again, I don't much care if they do (assuming I am already dead).

'People...what a bunch of bastards.'

I remember during the Y2K debacle, everyone thought that was the End of Days event. And Billy Graham came out and said, "why are you so worried about the End of the World, because when you die the world will end for you."

I do absolutely, but I'd be reluctant to discuss it outside of its proper place.

This ****'s a red rag to the 'edgy' and conceited. Prepare yourself for an inundation of 'alien in the sky', 'flying spaghetti monster' and 'stupid/weak minded/psychotic'-laden responses.

Not that opinion has any bearing. I'll be the fly on every Atheist's wall.

Pm me. I want to know your take.

Revelations?

No.

End of the world?

Inevitable.

I do not, but I certainly find it disturbing that more than half the populace not only thinks the world is going to end, but is happy about it.

Because they think something better is about to arrive. Compare to believing a pregnancy is about to come to an end or 4 years, college is about to be over or the flight is about to be over and is about to land in Honolulu.

The Book of Revelations is the author's 1st Century attempt to describe the rise of a dictator and WWIII.
There won't be a Rapture.

End time or not, what is important is how we live now, today. We will all have an end time to this life. The very best I can do is to try each day to be a better person to all others than I was the day before. And that is more than enough to work on.

No, I do not believe in fairy tales.

Yes, but it's not a baby being born, not graduating, and not landing in a plane, it's me and everyone I know being brutally murdered then subsequently tortured for eternity while christians celebrate it happening. That's sick.

According to Futurama (whom may have illustrated a theory) it may be a short period of time when nothing exists (i.e., end of time). Later though it all starts all over again with another Big Bang.

The "End Time" I am referring to is Christian eschatology. There are a number of Christians who believe we are now living in the "final days" as foretold by biblical prophecies. I'm not referring to cosmological end time. I should have explained that better.

Other then to make a mockery of someone's beliefs what exactly is your point with this thread?? For someone that hates and fears Christianity you sure are hung up on it. Your game is played out and sooo tired, let it go its controlling you at this point. Or better yet... grow up.

What I believe is that up until right now no one has left this planet alive.

If anyone has any reliable proof that Jesus Christ did that, let's see it.

I will wait.

The clock is ticking.
