Explain A Religious Astronaut..........!

The Vast majority of religionists Realize their FAITH is a personal experience, Not a documentable/debatable one, an do Not try and argue here.

Don't make an absurd statement like that and then tell us to dummy up. Most of the Christians I know base their faith on the historical accounts of the New Testament, on Biblical archaeology, and other supporting evidence. If you want evidence for God, etc., there is a thread where you can find it.

Otherwise I will not take this issue further.

Oh my, don't we love to "sound" intelligent when we are not. "preponderance", I just don't recall the last time I heard that word in a recent and distant conversation.

Watch a rerun of "Law and Order." ;)

An extensive vocabulary doesn't measure intelligence; in fact, it doesn't even necessarily mean that one has much of a formal education.

Aren't you the guy who just said "The Trinity is real, not imagined. You'll know that someday." INSTEAD of being able to produce anything?
IOW, You admittedly FAILED and turned to prediction/prophesying.
Your posts are all Tragic Comedy without any substance.
un-debatable.

Now you reiterate your unbelievably goofy Circular Reasoning.
We've been here before of course, more than once:

Circular Reasoning

CIRCULAR REASONING
circulus in demonstrando
......
Description: A type of reasoning in which the proposition is supported by the premises, which is supported by the proposition, creating a Circle in reasoning where NO Useful information is being shared.
This Fallacy is often quite Humorous.
......
Example #2:

The Bible is the Word of God because God tells us it is... in the Bible.

Explanation: This is a very serious circular argument on which many people base their entire lives.
This is like getting an e-mail from a Nigerian prince, offering to give you his billion dollar fortune -- but only after you wire him a “good will” offering of $50,000. Of course, you are skeptical until you read the final line in the e-mail that reads “I, prince Nubadola, assure you that this is my message, and it is legitimate. You can trust this e-mail and any others that come from me.” Now you know it is legitimate... because it says so in the e-mail.

There is No proof of the divinity of Jesus outside the the largely mythical NT. You're stuck with Parochial and Circular mumbo-jumbo.
Bye, and btw, you had NO answer to the rest of my post, just took one sentence out.

Horse manure.

Explain the "word" of the Bible contrasted against a dedicated to space exploration. Example of a religious astronaut is the moon walkers that said looking at Earth from space changed them somehow on "God". Where are the start and stop points in such people with such overpowering conflicts surrounding their deepest commitments?
Would one be willing to denounce God in favor of their life's dedication to their work and or visa versa?

I could only imagine what it would feel like to be in space looking down on earth and everything else around.

To look out at this kind of creation out here and not believe in God is to me impossible, ... It just strengthens my faith. I wish there were words to describe what it's like.” - John Glenn

Frank Borman was commander of the first space crew to travel beyond the Earth's orbit. Looking down on the earth from 250,000 miles in space, Borman radioed back a message, reading from Genesis 1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." As he explained in a recent interview, "I had an enormous feeling that there had to be a power greater than any of us—that there was a God, that there was indeed a beginning."

James Irwin, who walked on the moon in 1971, later became an evangelical minister and founded a Baptist ministry. He often describes the lunar mission as a revelation. In his words, "I felt the power of God as I'd never felt it before."

What is it about being in space that seems to spark our innate religious sense? Two hundred years ago, the philosopher Immanuel Kant said there are two things that "fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me." Reflection upon these things, Kant wrote, leads our minds to contemplate God Himself—the moral law revealing His goodness, the heavens revealing His power.

As the psalmist of old put it, "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims His handiwork."

Early Astronaut John Glenn, delivered a sermon entitled "Why I Know There Is a God"

[All that said I have never seen a photo of the Earth from space hung in any church. Wonder why.]

Why should it be hung? The focus is not on the creation, but on the CREATOR.
