religious arguments don't persuade?

I don't believe you were ever a Christian, and I certainly don't believe you were ever born again. Because if you had been you would have known it was real.

Circular reasoning is fun, ain't it kids.

What? That you'd be required to show proof of claim? That' claptrap? I like how you have no way to actually address anything, so you just use idiotic deflection. Good job.

BWWWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
"You atheists need to prove that Jesus didn't rise from the dead"

"Actually, that's an extrodinary claim in and of itself and proof falls upon the one who claims it"

"OMFGWTFBBQ!!!111one!11, look at this claptrap from the atheists. Only I can demand proof, no one else! And anyone who suggests that burden of proof is on the one making the positive claim is just head-in-the-sand crowd!!!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It would be funnier if this type of anti-thinking, anti-intellectualism, anti-educated "philosophy" wasn't choking out America.
The entire foundation of Christianity (and, indeed, many religious traditions) is the shifted burden of proof. They know, at least if they are honest with themselves, that their beliefs will only propagate if people don't have the ability to make them prove themselves.

In other words "I know your life better than you do."

Thanks for playing, sport! But, sorry, you don't get to determine what I am, or have ever been, in my life. It's just unmitigated arrogance to think you have that ability.

Oh, and since you are avoiding the question...again....
Why is foreknowledge not determinism when applied to your god?

In other words "I know your life better than you do."

No, in other words I know the born-again experience, which is an intense, supernatural experience with the Holy Spirit. You've obviously never experienced that.

Thanks for playing, sport!

No, you just think that you have the ability to determine what I have and have not experienced in my life. That's ridiculous.

1 Logicman must understand that his posts are seen by all as brick wall avoidance closed minded deliberate ignorance things.

2 He keeps at it.

3 Why?

He must derive enjoyment from the continuous denial of the bleeding obvious. It is very important to him. His central philosophy.

He does it too obviously for it to be any attempt at actual discussion so it's something else. What could that be?

My only answer is that his tribal identity is that of the fundamentalist Christian and that this denial of the obvious is the thing that the group identifies around. A bit like supporting a rubbish sports team. Just because you know they are crap does not stop you doing the cheering and stuff. Similarly he knows he is talking crap, but so what? He did not join the silly god bothers to sound clever to actual clever people he just wanted a society where lying was the central feature.

If you can spot any other motivations please tell me what they could possibly be.

From my experience, and I feel confident the experience of some of the other believers here, there is no evidence the anti-Christ crowd in this forum will ever accept.

As for Ken Ham, once you find the truth do you ever trade it in for a lie? No, you don't. That's why he said what he did.
Every single atheist once provided with ACTUAL evidence would change their stance. As for Ken Ham and anyone who claims to know the "truth" have provided zero evidence.

Every single atheist once provided with ACTUAL evidence would change their stance.

Nope. I haven't seen that. Some people refuse to acknowledge the evidence for Christ / God because they know Christianity comes with moral guidelines, and they don't want to crimp their lifestyles, or get off the throne of their lives to let God on.

As for Ken Ham and anyone who claims to know the "truth" have provided zero evidence.

Nonsense.

So why do you post stuff which only serves to illustrate the stupidity of religion at it's most pigheaded?

You are the most persuasive poster on this forum. You will have opened the minds of many Christians to the stupidity of such ideas. Well done.

I just don't get what's in it for you.

Nonsense.
Like I said zero evidence, please provide any. I'm sure you will be up for a nobel peace prize when all atheists and every other person from all other religions convert. Second, not one single christian gets their moral guide line from the Bible or their religion. This I can provide actual evidence for.

Show me where the Bible says that? Not where somebody else says it but where the Bible says it.

ok then, where's your evidence for anything that takes place in genesis?

I don't believe you were ever a Christian, and I certainly don't believe you were ever born again. Because if you had been you would have known it was real.

Don't you mean no one gay could possibly be Christian

But come on, life is long enough that people shift faith all the time. A not uncommon path: loved one dies and the survivor becomes "born again" because it helps them cope. Ten years later: they got over the grief and it's back to where they were before the tragedy, realizing there is no evidence in favor of religion

He cited some verse that made it clear he's just doing it for selfish reasons. It says that you must reason with a sinner, or else you're guilty of the sin too.

Repent, Plumber, before you perish.

ya you never believed because if you did you would know logicman is right

thus proving that logicman is right

some how because

I'd love to hear the evidence, then, that demonstrates the resurrection of Christ never happened.

It's like the glove OJ tried on ("If it doesn't fit you have to acquit"). So if you can't bust the resurrection you'd better get back down on your knees and pray to Jesus.

Your name is Logicman and you are asking me to prove a negative?

In other words, you'll find any excuse, no matter how fallacious, you can to ignore the proofs that God exists.

The universe is far too complex and wonderful to have been created by the emotionally stunted douchebag you worship.

That's just more hubris and nonsense from you.

The evidence for the resurrection has been presented in the "Evidence for God / Bible" thread (and elsewhere), and I've told you several times now that FOREKNOWLEDE IS NOT DETERMINISM. Apparently you are unable to grasp that simple proposition.

If you make someone you know isn't going to live up to your standards and then throw them in hell for failing the test you knew they wouldn't pass in the first place you are an asshole and unworthy to be my god.

Brain lesions can cause the same experience.

Eh, don't bother. Logicman doesn't actually care about debate. All he does is run away when challenged.

If you or anyone else winds up in Hell for rejecting Christ then it's on your head because of your personal decision.
