Every society would have bad things in it. The idea is to minimize those bad things.

kind of runs counter to your 1st post

Lol, another church marm blaming everything bad on sex

well if we would just compel every one to act a certain way and enjoy the same things and dislike the same things the world would be so much happier

noting wrong with that nope nothing wrong at all

but im being unfair your doing that if all you ask of people is to let others do what they want as long as it doesn't harm others

I believe it's not that simple of an issue. We can't blame poor mental healthcare or warped views on sex or lax gun controls or desensitization to violence exclusively for the evil this idiot perpetrated. It is the confluence of ALL these factors that led to this horrendous incident. Each of these issues MUST be addressed and addressed in a candid and rational way. This is so frequently the underlying issue with the societal ills we face today, we try so desperately to distill incomprehensibly complex problems to simple black/white solutions. Unfortunately, the world does not work that way.

As an aside, I don't believe there is an "issue" with sexual obsession. It is a biological imperative. No, the "issue" is born of our wrapped views on consent and gender roles.
