Sorry for the spelling if it's wrong. The make believe country you live in just passed a law mandating every family must terminate one of it members. Which member of your family gets the nod base on your opinion only? Why?

I wouldn't make such a choice, government mandate or not. I have lots of family members that give me indigestion and one brother who's persona non grata and has been for years, but I'd still decline. They say you can't pick your family, only your friends - but I treat family like friends - if they're worth spending my time with, they get treated like good friends - if not, see you never or at the next funeral.

My younger brother.

Why?

He's in liver failure...an alcoholic and drug addict; for more than 25 years now. He has no intention of stopping his self destructive lifestyle, so seeing as how he shirks responsibility, steals from people, doesn't care about his two children, sponges off people because he can't hold a job and refuses continually to seek help; I nominate him.

Okay, I'll play along, if anything like this ever occurred I would not make such a choice instead fight the government that would mandate such a thing. I would turn into a vigilante granny, just call me Granbo.
 
Yeah, what Granbo said. I'd have her back in the fight against such tyranny.
 
I would take up arms against the government if they were to do something like that.
 
I'm a descendant of Noah. So is anyone who approaches me or any of my loved ones with the intent to enforce the edict given in the OP. I guess that makes us family, right? So when I put a bullet in his worthless skull, I'll just be complying with the law. In fact, if they send more than one thug after my loved ones, I'll gladly sacrifice as many “family members” as it takes.
 
Whatever "doctor" tried to murder one of my loved ones.
 
At the risk of sounding all soft and mushy here, I just wanted to go on record by saying that not only have I grown to love and appreciate this little internet home of mine, but I have come to view you all as part of my family.
