This person, in his thirties, is trying to honestly deal with the economic reality that 20&30 somethings live in, in America. I think he has some valid points, but what I find tough to take is his point of view that "America" no longer exists. He is talking from a post America perspective. We are certainly out of the post WWII boom and into a new economic era. You are over 50 ? You may not be able to relate to the speaker at all.

Enjoy.

21 minutes?

I gave up after 5 minutes.

Within the first minute..."your going to have to trust me, you're going to have to be intellectually honest".

Nobody needs to stay past 1 minute. He's everything I expected and just as condescending.

One of the great things I find about the internet is the ability to get away from "sound bite" news as served up by CNN's etc., and look at things a bit deeper and even have an interactive discussion. Thanks for giving it a look.

He assumes that young adults haven't got a clue and the ones who actually care are savvy enough to look up the information. All that guy had was talking points and assumptions about the ignorance of his audience.

The dude is not just an ass (who wears a scarf indoors?) but totally ignorant and talks in circles.

"Govt doesn't make anything....govt makes military equipment"

Idiot doesn't understand the difference between the private sector shrinking, and the % of the economy which is private shrinking.

Compares federal spending from 1900 to fed, state and local spending currently

Says "forget about politics" and then talks about politics.

The dude is incoherent.

Appreciate your feedback on it.

Ever have a person knock on your door asking if there are any chores they could do for a few bucks? I did it all the time as a boy. I would like to have a few chores done that I can't do and so would many people but the slobs we call the youth of today want me to come to their door, drive them to my house, provide refreshments, provide tools and clothes, pay them in gold and wash their clothes if they got dirty and drive them back to their mommies and daddies. All I can do after is hope they do not sue me for emotional and psychological abuse.
