Texas Pastor John Hagee Tells Atheists To Get On A Plane, 'Leave The Country'

You continue to ignore ALL of the racist comments made by HUNDREDS of right-ist politicians and media..
Derail someone else by asking for FIVE years of on-the-record out-right racist callings..

Most predictably .
And you're ASSUMING it is race-driven, rather than hate for his policies and politics, and have posted nothing of substance whatsoever to back your baseless assumptions.

Predictably.

So again you make a ridiculous assertion and decline to back it with anything substantive.

Right. Done.

Moving right along... has anyone else got something worthwhile to say?

Did I say GOP President..
Check the post you quoted..
It says GOP politicians and we've seen no walk-back since the Limbaugh "slut" comments..
Expect a front-row seat for Duckkk at the next GOP convention .
Really? Show me one quote of any GOP president calling for atheists to leave the country.

Jumping on Goshin's post huh?
Pretty safe compared to who liked you.

You people really don't get what you are a part of do you.

You don't see or feel the SEETHING hatred out there for this POTUS,
ginned up by hundreds of hate-merchants on right-ist media .

As a truly non-affliliated voter, almost daily my decision to remain independent is reinforced. Something I see from the extreme sides of right and left is the necessity to label everything in absolute terms.

Hagee would love nothing more than for everyone to agree with him. Most people don't. He doesn't speak for most Christians or most conservatives or most Republicans. Isn't insisting that he does speak for those groups just as extreme as Hagee insisting that all people who don't believe as he does are ungodly and unAmerican?

And to answer another hit post from Goshin, he has nothing worthwhile to say about FIVE years of racist smears against the POTUS
but call them ridiculous assertions and decline to back it up with anything substantive when he knows it has happened .

You have gone from all GOP politicians, to tens of millions and are now down hundreds that are "racist"; within a few more posts maybe you will name the ten that you actually know of. Meanwhile, back on the topic, how many (if any) GOP politicians can you name that ever said that they supported the comments made by the OP preacher?

OK, I checked the post. Now tell me which GOP president was not a GOP politician.

No, I don't see seething. I definitely don't. What I do see is, again, your lumping those who disagree with you into "you people."

And I wasn't jumping on Goshin's post; I was affirming it. I was going to comment myself on your pathetic hyperbole, but he beat me to it.

How many atheists are offended by hearing the words Merry Christmas or the song "Joy to the World"? Seriously, me thinks these wingers make much ado over nothing.

I see stuff like this on Facebook every once in a while ... "I'm not afraid to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" or some other nonsense.

Um, good? I don't believe in a higher power and I say Merry Christmas too. The percentage of atheists who are "offended" by "Merry Christmas" is infinitesimal.

Yes, Risky, it is.

He doesn't speak for most Christians or most conservatives or most Republicans.
There was a day not too long ago last decade when Christians and Republicans wouldn't put up with this talk from Hagee without putting it down..As we both know, those days are long since passed..Would Hagee have said this if Duck had not said what he did if Rush didn't get away with it five days a week?America is numb to the excesses from the right-ists but jumps right away on "anything" a Black liberal says..
Isn't insisting that he does speak for those groups just as extreme as Hagee insisting that all people who don't believe as he does are ungodly and unAmerican?
Hagee is simply the latest hate-merchant to pile on the division..The silence from the right-ist lambs in comdemning their own like Palin and Cruz who stand outside the White House fences with KKKs and Southern avengers is all the proof any "independent" needs .

GOP President was not mentioned, showing the intention of your last two posts..
But since you mention it, how did Reagan stoke the racial fires ?
YOUNG BLACK BUCKS--you know 'em--give me some more-
OK, I checked the post. Now tell me which GOP president was not a GOP politician.

Your post is correct, but Evangels believe this Nation should NOT be secular .
No idea why you posted this ridiculous op. But hey, as long as I'm here - Hagee should realize our country is secular and HE should move to another country if he doesn't like it.

The whole idea is to point to you that there are ridiculous people out there.

No, I don't see seething.
It is hard to see when your eyes are closed to it..
What I do see is, again, your lumping those who disagree with you into "you people."
Those who do not disagree with Hagee's over-the-top rhetoric in public tacitly support it and become "you people".

That makes two of them you're playing up to .

At least get your quote right. Reagan never said "young black bucks" - it was close though since he did say "strapping young buck". If that is the best that you have then you have failed miserably to provide a convincing argument.

How many have walked them back, as they did before this decade of Obama?
Have we now entered the era of "silent racism", just let it go without speaking back to it?

How many do you need to prove that Reagan began the cultural war that has now spilled over into open Racism from his right-ists?

Damn, I'm trying hard to think of who you left out of your post. You've got almost everyone in there with the exception of Al Sharpton, Zimmerman and Justin Bieber.

Think for a second. We are full tilt into the Age of Information. Anyone can say damn near anything to the entire world. It is amazing, but the world is still learning how to process or not to process or when to process all the information available. Many of us in the world, probably most of us in the world, decided long ago that what Hagee says or what Farrakanh says or what Ralph Creach says isn't important. Why respond?

You seem to give more credence to Hagee than most people. That's fine, that is your business. Why should most people including Christians, conservatives, Republicans who don't pay any attention to Hagee respond? Why him? Everyone has a microphone. Why does Hagee's extremist ranting warrant a special response?

I see. Now all of the US citizens that do not address each and every "racist" comment are exhibiting "silent racism". I personally do not approve of the moronic BS of the OP preacher, but also do not go out of my way to try to "prove" that anyone that does not listen to and denounce it is a "silent racist". Do you denounce every non-comment that you find to be "silent racism"? If so then you must be extremely busy yelling racist. Oh, wait... that is how you spend a lot of your time. ;)

So are you working on your protest poster? And where in public do you plan to protest what Hagee said?

You seem to see an either/or--either one protests, or one is in tacit agreement. There's a third option, and it's mine: I'm indifferent. I don't even know what Hagee's denomination is, and I'm willing to bet that most people don't even know who Hagee is. Or care what he says.

It doesn't. Not, at least, to the tens of millions--no, twenties of millions, LOL-- of people who don't know who he is and don't care about his views.

Hagee feels threatened by the changing demographics of the country, people are abandoning religion and opting for logic and it hurts guys like him the most. I read a great article a few weeks ago about how evangelicals are losing people quickly and they aren't getting new ones. Their demographics are heavily weighed towards the elderly side of the scale. Hagee needs ignorant old folks to beg from, or he doesn't get to live a nice life off the spoils....

Oh yeah... I keep forgetting that! well, not really, I just don't agree with them...
