Prejudice vs Racist

Well, unfortunately I have a reputation around here for making subtle, and not so subtle comments that enrage many on the left... Something that I do not deny. It comes from all the people I've engaged over the last dozen years who refused to be honest, would blatantly lie about me, my words, my beliefs, and put politics ahead of the truth. I've just encountered so many people who will lie, cheat and steal in order to prop up their political beliefs, that it's taken it's toll on me.

I will promise you this though... If you are honest with me, I will give you the respect you deserve and 86 the inflammatory rhetoric, and if for some reason I don't do that, all you have to do is point out that you have been honest and civil with me, and I will not only treat you with respect, I will openly apologize for my behavior and retract anything I said that you didn't deserve. I will never do someone wrong and not make things right.

I practice what I preach. I never lie in the name of politics, and I don't claim something to be a fact, or the truth, that I'm not willing and able to back up... And that's all I'm asking of the people I engage in debate with.
