The Time Is The Distant Future And You Have Just Created......

Piss on them and call it rain. Now seriously, I would begin either learning and cataloging their language or teach them my own. Share technology and marvel at our creation. They would probably end up weaponized by the military.
If they wage war, does that mean that they have created iron or bronze weapons? Do they look like ours? What god/s do they worship, if any? A most interesting scenario, I salute you Rhinefire.
 
Cobble up constructs to teach them the golden rule. Customized to be culturally relevant.

Expect them to be killed terribly.

Hope a few get the message across.

(Seems to be the pattern here. Slow, but it appears to work over time.)
