Your Body After Death - Burial, Cremation, other?

There are over 450,000 churches in the United States. They aren't just internet files but real solid buildings. Will that suffice? Or must I bring up miracles, Reported miracles, cures and conversions attributed to Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers, no shortage of those either. Its on the internet so it must be true (as per your evidence:roll:).

They aren't responding to me in this thread. You are. Therefore you exist. Please provide your evidence backing your religious claim.
 
What would you accept as evidence? My word isn't good enough for you? My existence alone should be proof enough but I'm curious as to what type of physical evidence you hope would be provided.

Why are so many turned off by the idea of cremation?

My mother was cremated and her ashes were "buried" in a memorial garden at the church she attended for over 30 years.
I find that idea absolutely wonderful, and peaceful.

I'd like my ashes spread into the ocean in some place warm and sunny.

However, I know plenty of people who find the idea of cremation almost offensive.

Why is that? What's the fixation with burial? Why would you want such a thing?

I don't really like the idea of it.

I don't like the idea of my family having to keep my ashes around and burying the ashes is just redundant.
 
IMO, cremation sounds better than being worm food. :mrgreen:

Hmm. That's a different variation. I've always heard it as the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, in your stomach and out your mouth. :mrgreen:
