Missouri politician seeks to redefine, well, everything.

and I deny your basic premise that only the affluent may have a "stake in this nation". Thru out history when a minority controls the reins of government they have set the rules so as to hinder the chances for progress of the majority. It's certainly becoming true in this nation at this time.

If the majority didn't vote them in, the problem wouldn't exist. Unfortunately, everyone in America over 18 has a voice and a vote, regardless of how dumb, gullible, and/or easily swayed by bull**** the majority seems to be.

The voting age should be 21. consuming an alcoholic beverage and weighing in on politics should be entirely separate.

Missouri bill redefines science, gives equal time to Intelligent Design | Ars Technica

..And science in the States takes another step backwards. Where'd I put that FSM decal?

Are you ****ting me? A bunch of wackjobs in the Missouri legislature are going to define science rather than maybe having science define that for itself. Well that makes as much sense as Michelle Bachmann being on the Intelligence Committee, and that Georgia guy that says that evolution is lies straight from the pits of Hell...sitting on the House Science Committee.

Missouri...a poor mans Oklahoma.

Yeah, I hope this one is shot down. It's so over the top I'm not sure how to even characterize it. I would not mind intelligent design being mentioned, provided it's discussed fully in context. But the definitions proposed are not even tenuously related to reality.

I'm sure that Citizens United for Sep of church and state will go to work on this. It won't stand a court challenge. It ain't science Missouri.

Let me guess... he's a Republican. I didn't even Google him. If I'm wrong let me know.

I've got $10 bucks say's you're right. I haven't looked either.

There should be a mandatory competency test. Can't pass, can't vote.

I agree with that too. The presidential race is won by becoming a pop culture icon now and appealing to young, dumb kids.

I don't even watch the debates and campaigns anymore. I research their actual voting history. If I want to watch bull****, I'll tune in to the History channel and watch them rant about how everything is aliens.

I wonder how many votes were actually based on actual politics...probably only the over 40 population.
