If A charity attempst to make you donate money and you don't want to, is that attempted theft?
 
Only if that "charity" has the power of IRS and is backed up by federal marshals, US Marines and nuclear weapons. Income redistribution (charity) is now about 1/3 of US federal spending, so I suppose you could say that is theft, or at least forced charitable giving. ;)
 
charity is good but the social justice cant be left at the mercy of people.
 
The biblical "Charity" comes from the concept of Agape Love, which is a mindset, a way of thinking, not an action, this is something a lot of people get wrong in theology.
