I guess you don't understand the analogy. Transgender people are born that way. They don't decide one day they're the opposite sex just like homosexuals don't decide one day they're homosexuals.

Transgender children exhibit the behavior of the opposite sexes as early as 2 to 3 years old. In the past, they have been suppressed and forced to behave as their biological sexes they were assigned at birth. Just like how in the past gay people were forced in hiding.

You’re wrong again. It doesn’t always happen as a EUREKA!!! moment, but it does for some.

All it takes to be a transgender woman is to say you are one.

There is no waiting period to announce yourself as any of the “X” genders. It’s like candy... you want that one, and VIOLA!!! So you are.

There’s even a quiz!!!
Are you transgender (MtF)?

From a BBC documentary:
Debbie told the BBC that she got the idea about being transgender after watching TV coverage of trans people: “It was like a Eureka. I thought, This is me. This is what I’ve got to do.”

Transgender Activists: When Will They Acknowledge Detransitioners? | National Review

Spur of the moment.

You’re the gatekeeper of who is transgender and for how long it takes? ROTFLOL.

Just as you’re the gatekeeper who implied a woman couldn’t be a trans woman because she was too ugly and not feminine enough.

And you’re the adviser to trans people who gave advise which has been deemed “extremely harmful” and illegal by “professionals” in the field.

You haven’t a shimmer of an idea what you’re talking about. You’ve proven yourself to be both foolish and dangerous.

So if a man goes EUREKA!!! I am gay! That means he's gay all of sudden? :lamo

So if I tell you I'm Superman, I'm actually Superman?

Why do you keep insisting on posting quotes that proves me right? Your quote proves that he was never a transgender person to begin with! :lamo

No that would be professionals. You're the one who claimed that the man is actually a transgender person.

Just as you’re the gatekeeper who implied a woman couldn’t be a trans woman because she was too ugly and not feminine enough.

The implication is on you.

And you’re the adviser to trans people who gave advise which has been deemed “extremely harmful” and illegal by “professionals” in the field.

Um it says so right there in the quote you posted about it being harmful!!!! :lamo It's like you don't even read the articles and quotes you posted. :lamo

You keep illustrating you have zero logic. Equating fantasy figures with reality.

Hey... you’re a Leftist, and a model one. I enjoy it when you post your massive ignorance.

Yep... if I say I identify as “X, Y or Z” gender... I am that gender. It’s that simple. That’s why it’s ridiculous.

She not only was transgender, she had the mutilation and hormones. Then she realized she ****ed up her life... and you laugh.

You mock trans women because they’re not feminine and ugly, and you laugh at people who are transgender, who decided “that’s me” in an instant... who went all the way and then realized they ****ed up.” Funny **** for you I see.

However, after 17 years on testosterone and changing her name to Lee, and after having had “multiple procedures,” she realized she had made a mistake:

I remember breaking down. It was like this was a mistake. It should never have happened. But what the hell do you do about it? How do you go through yet another harrowing transition? What do you do? I’ve got no hair. I’ve got a beard. I’ve had all my body mutilated. How the hell do I go back to being the Debbie that I was?

You’ve:

1. Mocked trans women.

2. You’ve claim self identifying trans women aren’t... implying they’re too ugly to be one.

3. You’ve given “extremely harmful” advice about counseling.

You keep illustrating you have zero logic. Equating fantasy figures with reality.

I've asked you this question before so I'll ask again. Do you think transgenderism is real and some people are born transgendered?

She not only was transgender, she had the mutilation and hormones. Then she realized she ****ed up her life... and you laugh.

They are different people.

You mock trans women because they’re not feminine and ugly, and you laugh at people who are transgender, who decided “that’s me” in an instant... who went all the way and then realized they ****ed up.” Funny **** for you I see.

Nope. I'm mocking you for thinking the man is really transgender and that you actually think it can be decided one day as if by magic it actually transforms a non transgender person into a transgender person.

You stopped laughing again. Why?

I've asked you this question before so I'll ask again. Do you think transgenderism is real and some people are born transgendered?
It’s a real movement involving real people.

They are different people.
No.
It’s the same person.
You’re the one who doesn’t read.
If you had, you’d never have given a participant here “extremely harmful” advice. I pointed out your massive error... which if was done was illegal.

To repeat... it is the same person... who ****ed up their life... making the decision in a EUREKA!!! Moment.
A recent BBC documentary opens with the story of Debbie, who was “born a girl, assigned female at birth, and lived most of her life this way.” (Of course, she wasn’t “assigned” female, she was observed female, but never mind.)

At age 44, Debbie transitioned medically, taking testosterone, which gave her a beard and made her go bald. She then transitioned surgically, having flesh from her arm grafted to construct a pseudo-penis. Debbie told the BBC that she got the idea about being transgender after watching TV coverage of trans people: “It was like a Eureka. I thought, This is me. This is what I’ve got to do.” Debbie had struggled with many issues and had been sexually abused as a child.

She hoped that changing gender would help her “become a different person” as well as “accepted in the world.” However, after 17 years on testosterone and changing her name to Lee, and after having had “multiple procedures,” she realized she had made a mistake:

I remember breaking down. It was like this was a mistake. It should never have happened. But what the hell do you do about it? How do you go through yet another harrowing transition? What do you do? I’ve got no hair. I’ve got a beard. I’ve had all my body mutilated. How the hell do I go back to being the Debbie that I was?

More lies.

1. You mocked a trans woman.

2. You implied she wasn’t trans because she was too ugly and masculine

3. You gave harmful advice that if carried out by any “professional” is illegal.

4. And you claim to know how fast people decide.

You’re full of it... Totally illogical... have no idea what you’re talking about... and you find it funny. What a combination!!!

Of course you can decide one day. Some do it fast, in a EUREKA!!! Moment... as illustrated above, others take longer. People are different. There isn’t just one road which leads to Rome.

I don't know why I should give a **** as to this person's gender dysphoria.

Let them work out their issues in peach and in private (hopefully for their best end result), from my view.

You are at that point of declaration, on true to yourself

The easiest, and perhaps best, solution is to eliminate ALL gender words from our language.

Identity Politics is a Leftist tool. You really should bone-up on it. To claim it’s of the Right is fall-down funny.

My claim was that both parties engage in identity politics.

True according to who? What?

Every cell has chromosomes and each one identifies the person - or any other mammal - as male or female. That is real or, if one likes, 'true'. 'Gender' is merely a construct, invented quite recently by idiot academics; it is entirely imaginary, as is its derivative 'transgender'.

This person wants to be called "she", and so does my wife. Words don't exist to describe the difference between the 'woman' on camera and my wife, therefore that difference can't be expressed.

Anyone choosing to marry a biological female over the 'person' in the video constitutes discrimination based on sexual identity.

For the record, I'm guilty of that discrimination despite being forced to use the same terms to describe my wife's identity and this person in the video.

That is where you are wrong. It is not about feeling. And it's funny that you asked that question because you haven't explained what this "feeling" is. What is a "feminine feeling"?
No, it is about identity. They seem themselves as in the wrong bodies. Why are their bodies wrong? Because they aren't female!!! Also, their brains' gender is the opposite (MRI studies suggest it), so naturally they would see themselves as female and GASP! behave like a female!

And no I haven't gone to the opposite side. I am trying to educate him on this issue. He is is ignorant. He thinks you can just choose to be transgender willy nilly. And he thinks the man in the video is actually a TG. I simply disagree because there is no way to be sure unless you have some kind of idea about the man.

I was asking you to explain what a feminine "feeling" or "behavior" is. Your argument is that *real* transgender women act like women. I am simply asking what acting like women means. You are saying their bodies are wrong and that they have a mismatch between body and brain - that they have a brain of a woman? Or is it the soul of a woman?

Self identification means one absolutely can declare themselves transgender and there is no measure or diagnostic tool involved at all. One does not exist anyway. That is what activists have been fighting for - the desire to self declare and not require some sort of proof from a therapist or doctor. I understand why they have wanted to get rid of all of the gatekeeping but now there is a lot of confusion about what transgender means and how to determine one's gender identity. This is particularly critical when one is deciding to chemically or surgically alter their body - even more critical when discussing minors and young adults.

You cited the MRI study:
Scientists have found no innate gender area of the brain which is fixed at birth.

Children's brains are very plastic (neuroplasticity). They are constantly absorbing what is around them.

There is no 100% male or female brain which people are born with. There may be trends but there is no absolute marker of sex in the brain. Research in neuroscience has consistently showed that. Children develop their own personality, interests and behaviors regardless of their biological sex - so what they play with or how they dress does not indicate that they have a mismatch of body and brain. Additionally, it is harmful to suggest to children that their body is wrong or mismatched.
For people to have a brain/body mismatch it must be shown that there is a "pink" or "blue" brain. Good video here YouTube

The MRI study you are likely speaking of was done post-mortem, and they were on MtF who were on cross sex hormones which we know changes the brain. There simply is not the science to prove a biological basis for gender dysphoria or the mismatch body and brain hypothesis. Unbiased information and conclusions are hard to come by since there are so many people invested in a particular outcome.

The science does not show a purely biological basis for cross sex identities. What about gender fluid or agender? I don't think there has to be a biological basis to accept that some people manage their distress about their sex role in society by living as the opposite sex and others have different reasons for transition.

I said each of you have gone to opposite corners meaning you are so far apart that neither can entertain the others' position or any grey areas in their own. I think that is unfortunate.

Transgender brains are more like their desired gender from an early age -- ScienceDaily

Why is that unfortunate for me? It's unfortunate for him. I understand his position. I am trying to get him to see the light.

The argument is like this:
"Being gay is a choice and you can decide to be gay one day."
"No you cannot. One is born either gay or not."
"Nuh huh uh."

Would you "entertain" that person's position? Or try to help him understand? Transgenderism is a MEDICAL condition. When he says that one can choose to be a transgender person, that means he was BORN that way. If the man isn't a transgender woman, he is a transvestite as per the definition.

Your expertise on the subject stems from where?

Reading books like the excellent 'Madness of Crowds' by Douglas Murray, my knowledge of science, and good old much undervalued common sense.

Common sense only works if you have all the data.
Otherwise, it's just imaginary.
