According to what I read, he was in a physical altercation with one of them when the other one not in the physical altercation shot him. As for how that altercation happened, the story I read just said that it happened after the police was called when he was refusing to leave the restaurant.

The use of deadly force requires an affirmative defense. Defending against a “hate” crime does is not alone enough.

I'm not part of one of the qualifying demographics. Our legal system has different outcomes for the same circumstances depending on who you are.

Yes, the dead man did not get the message: This is 2019 Georgia.

If I am not mistaken, Georgia will soon get its first non-Caucasian governor (a lady, who claims that she was cheated in the last election).

The days of "Gone with the Wind" are over (When one of the actresses in the movie, who was non-Caucasian, was not allowed to attend that movie's premiere in Atlanta. She also won an Oscar, but she was not seated with her fellow actors at the Oscar dinner in Hollywood, I understand).


Everyone had better learn to keep his/her mouth shut no matter how angry s/he becomes.

Shouldn't you avoid the obvious personal insults, and instead use the politically correct, CNN and MSNBC-approved terms like "Nazi Trump supporters", or "fascist Trump supporters", or the term that's more recently come into vogue across mainstream "news" media anchors' desks, which is "Russian agent/colluder Trump supporters"!

It's a shame that this upstanding citizen had his life cut short for speaking the truth... The family will have to take solace in the fact that the shooter will meet the same fate in the waffle house over a drug deal gone bad, babies momma trouble or over an argument about which malt liquor is better...

The family should start a GoFundMe, I bet it would raise a lot of money.

Judging by the mug shots these guys out weighed the victim by a good amount and shooter was in no danger at all, in fact Henderson could of easily broken up the fight.

I hope they don't drop the charge to manslaughter.

Times like this makes wish it was before the 1950's, Henderson would just be charged and taken to the nearest tree.
