It’s official - I’m a grad student.

I think I might be a glutton for punishment, with a sick husband, 4 dogs and 2 kids in undergrad.

Congratulations and good luck! You'll have a lot to juggle but I bet you can do it!

Congrats, Supes! Im proud of you. :2wave::mrgreen::cheers::bravo:

Good on you! Big commitment. Get ready to devote a large portion of your day to reading and writing. Sooner than you realize you will feel guilty just reading a newspaper. So much to do and so very little time.

The good news is that grad school is different from what you have been used to. The expectations on you as a grad student are much higher, but most of the classes will be much more interesting. You'll experience a different level of learning. If I know you as I think I might you'll enjoy the challenge.

Best to you.

Congratulations, Superfly. You are a real go-getter. As long as it isn't law school or medical school, I am sure you will do just fine! And if it is either of those, well, Godspeed. :prof

Thanks, luv. I always felt guilty for pleasure reading in undergrad, too.

Good for you.

As a person who has just gone through this recently with my wife, the best I can offer by words of advice is to tell hubby he's gonna have to suck it up, your stress levels will be high, but in the end it will be worth it.

And you, you remember to be kind, he'll be picking up a lot of slack and putting up with an ungodly amount of your BS...;)

But congratulations, good luck, and best wishes.

Alright!

You've got balls following through with this, Superfly.

Thanks y’all. I may regret this, but for now, I am cautiously optimistic.
No, you won't regret this, I promise you that. What you would regret is if you never followed through with your dream and try. If you didn't at least try, you'll be 90 years old one day wondering what could have been, and kicking yourself in the ass for not listening to your heart.

You made the right call, now go and have fun with this. You've earned it.

Thanks luv. A dear friend here reminded me before I started undergrad that I could either be 50 with a degree or 50 without. Glad I listened to her.

You are right - just a little daunting.

Thats awesome, good luck
