I'm currently trying to 'save' about 9 toadlets from a relatively new retention pond behind a client's home. They metamorphosed during a hot & dry spell, leaving some of them to dry up and die on the exposed, dry clay soil, just a few feet from the water's edge. So I scooped up a bunch, transported some to more suitable areas. But I also kept about 9 of them in a large Tupperware box. Unfortunately I had no idea how to properly care for tiny toadlets.
So I went to YouTube to watch instructional videos on how to care for them. In the mean time, I ran into this humorous video, starring 2 adult toads, who seem to be annoyed with one another during a feeding session of meal worms. I only wish it was this simple to feed toadlets, but unfortunately I am stuck feeding them (not so)flightless fruit flies!
