Cars that are not coming back in 2020

It is NOT a Mazda product in any respect whatsoever.

Ford owned Probe until 1997.

After discontinuing the Mustang and then being forced to reverse decision in 1993, Ford offered, in 1994, the Probestang.

It's twice the price of a typical 5.0 so it's not surprising you get a few more bells and whistles.
If you invest another 15 thousand into a 5.0 to bring it up to BMW price parity you might be surprised.

At this point I look at the Mustang as just a fun car. Top down, wheels spinning, sideways as you launch. Back to driving kinda fun.

Talking about the body. Not the drivetrain. Look again.

Yes it is ugly but all cars were in the 90's. The drive train is what makes a car, the body is just cosmetic.

The 90's Camaro was pretty ugly too...

Well in general he is not wrong. Not talking about the Shelby in the picture but the 5.0 like I have is what you normally see on the street. I have to admit the car is a blast but it makes a ton of noise and smoke doing it. The tires it comes with just aren't wide enough to launch easily. You would never want to get into a dash with something like a BMW x3 m4. The traction control and 4 wheel drive means the mustang is going to lose big time.

Next time you change tires try some Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. They stick pretty well and won't break the bank.

Oh, I agree with you. They are 2 completely different cars. That said, they didn't exactly hit it out of the park with the 4th generation mustang.

I can see how people would say they aren't different enough styling wise to argue they just rehashed an already done model.

I know what you mean, I call that model the "jellybean". But all cars had that look in the 90's.

To be clear, I was only referring to the body (I've owned a Stang, conv GT). And I'm correct.

I like the fact that it doesn't stick very well. If I wanted a car that sticks better I would get the camaro, it comes with stock wider tires. Sometimes you just wanna be sideways with tires spinning even if your not accelerating that fast, driving used to be fun. Mustangs are that cheap fun.

Try putting a 5.0 in a FWD platform!

People do.

The 1994 Stang is a last-minute scramble to reverse a long planned decision to discontinue.

I can't lie for Ford. They gave us a Probestang because they were not prepared to design a new model. They threw a couple grooves into the body.

They gave the Mustang 90's jellybean styling. That does not make it a Probe unless the Camaro was one also.

The quarter panels, hood and angles are different than the Probe. Obviously not based on the same design.

The Camaro looks like a bloated Probe to me.

Yeah, kinda.

It was a wretched era for American automobiles.

And maybe I'm just a disgruntled Ford fan, but that 1994 "Mustang" is an affront to mankind.

They have made up for it recently though. It's now the best selling sports car in the world and outsells Porsche in Germany several quarters. I love my Red Candy 2012 fastback like no other Mustang I have had. Mine is similar to this....
