Do you agree with her? Should Bloomingdales be ashamed of themselves for selling this shirt and immediately remove it from their inventory?

I don't agree with her. Doesn't look all that great, but whatever. But companies pretty much react quickly to this kind of Twitter rage stuff, so they're gonna take it down regardless.

People are going off the deep end with overreaction these days.

You can't wear a shirt that says FAKE NEWS but this one's okay?

I absolutely agree it should be removed, right after the president among his other claims, stops using the term fake news and not a second sooner. What bullcrap. I'm offended by some of the stupid on here but it's not being removed.

Do some people actually take graphic T shirts seriously?:screwy

It's the lady's right to complain and it's the right of the company to either tell her to go pound sand or keep selling the T-Shirt. I don't think the store should be ashamed or praised, they just made a marketing decision. I've seen stores sell BLM T-Shirts, Offensive Trump, Obama, Hillary, GWB T-shirts as well. If I don't like it, I don't buy it.

How to get free media advertising 101: place some controversial product on display (in one location?), get some outraged feedback and then boldly announce that you have changed company policy.

Considering a little controversy is fantastic for sales, I think they are stupid to remove it. Considering we live in a free country, there is no political reason they shouldn't.

Their best bet is to tell her that removing it was fake news and watch it explode.

Otherwise, let someone else pick up the revenue they were too nervous to fight for.

It's kind of appropriate to have that shirt on a dummy isn't it?

I don't know. They couldn't have predicted who it would be to complain. But they did get luckily appropriate.

Either that, or on a model with an excessive amount of silicone on their chest.

I think you've got something there. Maybe "fake news" referrs to the wearer's chest.

I think so. If I was a plastic surgeon, every breast implant would come with it's own complimentary squeeky toy

That's a scary thought if you have a dog.

In this era of Amazon, brick-and-mortar stores cannot afford to offend anyone.

Sure, that store was cowardly to remove those T-shirts, but let's be honest: All of us are cowards in our public lives.

So let's not judge that department store.
