Movies that need a sequel

Master and Commander

/thread

I cant think of any.

I would dearly like to see more new stuff of quality done by Hollywood though....I mean God Damn you dont need to look any further than the really crap storytelling done in our movies now to see that this culture has rotted out.

If you dont believe me go ask Paglia!

I think we as a society go overboard with the sequels but in the spirit of the thread:

I agree on Pulp Fiction. I would also say Inception and Goonies.

Really_? You can't think of any movies that need sequels!?! Well, what about Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween? Not a single one of those movies has seen any closure! Can't you see room for AT LEAST 7-15 more fully justified sequels to each and every one of those movies? Jason Vorhees has ONLY been killed like 6 times after all! Lol

I dont do horror movies, real life has more than enough horror for me....maybe that's the problem.

There are none and there never were any.

IMO, of course.

You never wondered what happened to the Gimp? An entire prequel could be made about his story and could continue on with what happened to him afterwards.

Nothing gets pass you does it!

First sentence of the Buddhist teachings: Life is suffering.
For starters you should perhaps study Buddhism so as to avoid making such blatant mistakes.

Then perhaps English.

lol. Pulp Fiction was my first thought when i saw the thread title, and then i thought nah for so many reasons. wasn't even going to post it.

but i would totally go see it.
Yeah, same here.

Tarantino's true genius was in making Kill Bill two-part and showing us the second one first.

Well, mostly.

I think.

Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are probably my favorite Tarantino movies. Kill Bill was awesome, though.

A Clockwork Orange, just updated and in the US.
Or
Dr. Strange love, or How I Learned To Love The Bomb, but hey, that might be too realistic for many.

I really loved Chinatown and The Two Jakes.

I always wanted a third sequel to Chinatown. They did one, or what could arguably be cited as one, but it's animated.
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit"...not exactly my idea of a Chinatown sequel but it did handle the story material the way a third Chinatown sequel would have handled it.

It's sort of the "hidden" sequel.
