Why do leftists seem to think Trump will end the world or something?

Because of trumps secret plot to sacrifice baby seals to the volcano god so a big enough eruption can occur to put enough ash into the air to dramatically reduce temps so he can save on his electric bill in summer at his mar a logo golf course, seriously everyone knows this:roll:

I am not nor have ever been a Leftist, but if you cannot observe the dangers that the trump Presidency is demonstrating as we speak, then I suspect that your bias has blinded you. Or at the very least Trumps propaganda has found a home in your head.,
 
The same party that thought a moderate Democrat was going to place heterosexual gun owners into internment camps while instituting Soviet Era Communism is now calling the Democrats dramatic.

He hasn't remained faithful to a lovely wife, he lies almost daily, he caters to the far right, he has little respect for the constitution, he disregards the advice of our intelligence agencies, he has contempt for our allies, he praises Putin, Russia helped get him elected, and he has joked about starting a war. That's just a little of his "minus" traits. How can we possibly trust anyone like that with "the red button."

Could it be that you simply do not understand the man (Trump)? As I observe, he has been a rich, rude, crude corporate bully who does not care what anyone else thinks about him or his actions. He has supported many Democratic and liberal activities, yet ran as a Republican because he believed this country was heading the wrong direction. He cursed, intimidated, belittled and crushed anyone who opposed him - and Americans cheered him. From what I have deduced, the reason the left hates him so much is that they have been, and continue to be, unable to do/say anything that will force him to bow to their demands. For all else he has been and is, he appears to be a man of his word. I personally don't like President Trump and a doubt I would sit and have a beer with him based on his personality; however, I do like that he has gotten rid of the "spread-the-wealth" Buh-bumma-Care (in effect), has lowered the unemployment rate across all demographics, and has not and will not apologize to the World for us being the greatest Nation on this Earth - I will drink to that!!
