Just got my first delivery from Amazons own delivery service (AMZL) I’m impressed, there tacking is great, you get a real time GPS reading on the truck overlaid on a map that also shows how many deliveries before your stop. I have never had a package stolen from my doorway and I plan to keep it that way. I use amazon prime a lot, three times a month on average. Surprisingly, the most reliable and on time is the USPS in my area, always between 11:00am to 1:00pm. UPS is ok but its impossible to get a sense of when the package will show during the day. Fed-Ex in my area is pretty bad, every box looks like it traveled thru a war zone. These delivery vendors should be worried and take notice, they stand to loose a big portion of the market share if Amazon expands this service.

Excellent. As long as the pee bottle doesn't spill over your package, you should continue to receive clean, "unharmed" packages.

That's excellent news. Hopefully they'll deliver to my neck of the woods soon, although I don't anticipate it any time soon. I live too far from any major cities.

I do use Amazon Prime pretty regularly, though. Especially around Christmas. I do a ton of shopping for my youngest daughter on Amazon, because she's not very mainstream. The things she likes (music, etc) are not things you'd find at Target, so I do a lot of shopping for her online.

Its understandable that you can do this when you pay your employees welfare wages despite being the richest human in history.

Rupert at his best!

Last I checked nobody is forcing these folks into becoming sub-contract delivery drivers. The unemployment rate is so low in my area that a person can pick and choose from many employers. I would guess the horror stories are more planted by worried disgruntled drivers from other vendors. Not to mention the department of labor in NH is darn good with addressing legitimate claims with employee rights. In fact, any driver could use the tracking as a case with it’s states labor department if Amazon demanded the person exceed labor rules.

Keep in mind, the only thing they are really doing differently is the open tracking for the customer, all delivery vendors track the delivery trucks (in house) and have basically the same quota of deliveries depending on region.

Like I said, these delivery vendors should take note, Amazon is not reinventing the wheel just making it spin better.

I was surprised, after all this is New Hampshire and the closest big city is Boston, so maybe in your neck of the woods before long they will have this delivery option. I think Amazon prime is a great service for the price, I far exceed the membership cost with shipping savings and convince each year. If you add in the music and video streaming that comes free with prime it's a no-brainer.

Curious, have you looked at Amazon pantry since they acquired whole foods?

You may want to consider the monopoly Google has, or the net worth of apple.

No, my friend uses Amazon pantry. I keep thinking of trying it, though.

I am about an hour from two major cities, so I am keeping my fingers crossed, because I do love me some Amazon prime. I, too, pay for it every year with just shipping cost savings. Plus my husband loves Prime movies and TV.

Since the pantry expanded they started carrying a better selection of whole oats/groats. I’m one of the crazy people that flacks their own oats/groats and other gains. Most don’t get it so here is video. Oats and other grains soon after flaking lose nutrients, the boxed and bag stuff is just junk. The video is in German, the country that makes the machine, It’s definitely kitchen counter art that works flawlessly.

That was pretty cool. Not 100% sure what I just saw, but it was cool.

I've had incredibly ****ty luck with that both times they did it (and I didnt request their delivery, it was the default on what I ordered).

Inability to find my address, to properly deliver the package, to properly follow instructions, and to communicate those instructions within the delivery structure. (I am a rural, gated property. However if they are not prepared to deliver rurally, then they shouldnt do so)

Oatmeal from raw seeds. Flaking makes them into cereal.

You should at least fact check and research before you make stupid posts like this.

Almost all commercial drivers pee in the bottle whether it's random or for a accident.

Drivers everywhere have pay disputes for a myriad of reasons...….temporary payroll glitches, software problems on handheld scanners...etc. etc. etc. They usually get resolved within a week.

Lot's of companies besides Amazon drivers are claimed to be intimidating workers.

Why so excited?!?
Did I state a lie in my comment?

My experience is polar opposite. AMZL is horrifyingly bad. Misdeliver things constantly. Leave **** in publicly accessible areas in full view.
