On. You've inevitably seen the light, and reached the final level of enlightenment as a fan of 'America's team', the Philadelphia Eagles.... So what's next? How are you to behave, what are you to do? Well, here's your Philadelphia Eagles manual:

First and foremost, you'll need to start hating the Dallas Cowgirls and the NY Midgets with a passion. Next, you'll need to learn to dislike the Redskins(but mostly you'll just feel sorry for them).

You'll need to try and learn to tolerate the referees' tendency to make erroneous calls that usually seem to benefit the Cowgirls, while missing obvious penalties that should've been called on them. ^That's 90% of how they won 3 super bowls in the 90s. Eagles players were usually penalized for tackling Emmett Smith(the most overrated RB of all time).

You'll need to learn to overreact negatively when plays don't work to your satisfaction. You will learn to be critical, even when the Eagles win, because they still made some mistakes.

You'll have to learn to tolerate hearing Howard Eskin without killing yourself 5 mins later.

As usual, the Eagles will have winning seasons far more often than not, and they'll make it to the playoffs more often than not. But as an Eagles fan, THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! We aren't Buffalo for heavens sake!

Lastly, you need to learn the Eagle's official song(Fly Eagles fly, on the road to victory).

They will make it to the playoffs more times than not......and lose almost every time. LOL

If I dropped my team in order to become an eagles fan then the next step would logically be through the door of a good psychiatrist as I am obviously suffering from some form of mental illness.

You'll need to throw batteries at the opposing teams, cheer serious injuries, and pretty much devolve into something less than a human being

I don't know about cheering injuries. There are undoubtedly a few dirtbags who do that in every city. As far as throwing batteries, that's obviously something that should be a criminal offense. I haven't heard of that happening more than once at a game. Some fans threw snowballs at Jimmie Johnson during a game in the early 90s.

Eagles fans have gotten a bad rep in the past, based on the actions of a few people, during just a few games, but even that was more exaggerated than true. It was also 20+ years ago.

But it was only a year ago that Dallas fans were cheering Carson Wentz's season ending knee injury. There's a video of Michael Irvin discussing it.

I've been looking to dump the Dolphins for 30 years. Damn lazy no good son of a bitch won't even get off the couch.

I wonder why Irivn would not like people cheering injuries, hmmm

I thought the only thing you needed to be an iggles fan is to know how to throw batteries at Santa and pee on the other sides fans sitting in the better seats below you that you were too cheap to buy

Well, at least you spelled the team's name correctly..... Lol

I've been looking to dump the Dolphins for 30 years. Damn lazy no good son of a bitch won't even get off the couch.

Are they still showing Perfect Season highlights in schools? Boy I hated those days.

And Marino.

He was after my school days. I met that prick, what an arrogant ahole.

The Eagles fans are passionate--only Cubs fans have given so much to their team with so little to show for it. Being a lifelong Boston fan, I had to deal with the Eagles last year, but I also know what it is like with long droughts.
