Hmmm... a brown bear. I wouldn't go shooing him away. As he eats you he'll be laughing with his buddies at the Bear Bar: "And the stupid human though I was a black bear! LOL"

Black bears can be black, blue-black, dark brown, brown, cinnamon and even white.

Show that video to Trump and odds are that bear will get deported on general principle alone of seeing anything jump any fence.

I'm glad they were able to capture him without harming him - but I laughed when the guy said this BIG bear was running around and then the reporters said he weighed 180lbs. My biggest Saint weighs 211 and he's a baby to me.

It would really present quite a dilemma for him. While he's not a fan of fence jumpers he does tend to side with bears.

Bears get bigger when they're in your back lot.

That is a small brown bear, I thought Santa Fe was further south than they usually see them.
Maybe it is one of the lighter phase black bears.
I found this story about the last Grizzly in the area being killed in 1979.

We are surrounded by mountains. They come down into the city from time to time. Big cats too. A few years ago a bear came down into the city down the santa fe river (which is like a deep ditch at best) and she fell asleep near a bridge. Then she woke up, looked up at everyone staring at her from the bridge, took a **** and went back to sleep.

Poor bear.....just looking for a spot to cool off, probably.
This California bear was more fortunate.
He was able to find a cool place........a swimming pool-----it is California after all.:)
Then "the man" showed up and spoiled his fun.
