After clicking on only a few pages, the message "Sorry, something went wrong on our end" appears with the recommendation that you go back to the home page and a pic of a cute doggie. Hmmmmpf, I think Amazon needs to offer another Prime Day. I wonder how many frustrated, furious customers there are?

My wife has been in gripe mode on that one already. Between Amazon meltdown and Trump's less than stellar performance in Helsinki today, it's been a crapper.

Frustrated? Yes. Furious?? No. Why put that much energy into it. Amazon has always had good customer service so I suspect they will make it right no matter the size.

Failures of this magnitude by players who are said to be the best in the game are not good.

Although I'm (finally) a Prime member, I'm not a hard-core Amazon shopper, but they're out there, especially those who buy in bulk. There are some tremendous sales today. I don't want an Echo or any toys/devices, but if I were, I think I might be furious if I lost out on a fantastic deal.

My husband is probably glad I forgot that that was today.

My sister reminded me about it half an hour after I made a big amazon order...Oh well, what I wanted was probably not on sale.

I couldn't really preview the deals. The same page kept on coming up.
Probably better that don't buy stuff I really don't need.

I remember last year's (their first year doing it?) was a bust.

I didn't know that. So shouldn't the webmaster have better prepared for today? :doh

I think last year people were just disappointed that there wasn't much interesting on sale.

There is today! I've been a Skechers fan since before most people had heard of the brand, and there's a pair for $34. I want them.

Screen shot the shoes and make them give them to you for that price. Amazon has great customer service. I've never had issue with them at all.

Amazon has been buggy for the past few days. I've been uploading new versions of my books, and its taking longer than normal.

We've noticed in the UK that more than a few "bargains" were cheaper weeks ago. Just saying. Don't rush into a purchase.

I didn’t have an issue at all, I ordered two items at a sale price and thought it was all fine. Amazon prime is a good deal/membership if you shop online for basic stuff or use there video and music applications. Amazon doesn’t have the library of Neflix and iTunes but its darn close and easier to navigate. I’m also a fan of their fire tablets, they do everything I need a tablet to do at a fraction of the cost of an iPad. And unlike the iPad the fire tablets come with a storage port for SD cards that you can load up with movies and music when out of WiFi signal.

I am a prime customer too, but when they increase the price for my renewal, I am dropping it.

Maybe they need to consider some server upgrades for next year. Put some of those billions they make to good use.

I was watching Point Break with Keanu and remembered it was prime day, so I paused it and bought toilet paper. Sorry you had that experience and not mine.

I said I'll get it later

Happy Wife Happy Life.

Update:

Amazon held its annual Prime Day earlier this week, and the company said the 36-hour event was the biggest shopping event in its history.

According to an Amazon press release, the top two best-selling products around the world were the Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote and the Echo Dot. More than 100 million products were purchased around the globe. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/com...y-around-the-world/ss-AAAgxQk?ocid=spartandhp

I was so ticked by the site problems that I didn't shop until it was all over...and then spent $100 on a baby shower gift, but it wasn't on sale anyway.
