Why is it that more often then not people will blame the politicians for being corrupted and ignore the bigger issue of those who are corrupting.

Why isn't there a greater effort to punish or change the culture in big business and politics to stop corruption. If the reason is that it's because corruption is rampant in all areas of politics and big business. Why aren't we marching in the streets rebelling for change. And actually boycotting big business with company's such as Amazon.

I think the answer must be because for all their griping about it -- campaign reform, lobbying, "pay to play," etc. -- most folks like the notion that the folks having the most money, who are necessarily too the folks having the most to lose and who pay the most taxes, get to have the most say in the way public policy and political decisions are made.
