You can reject your own *good* life but very few would.
 
Here's how it works, make any offer and I don't touch you and take your soul. The greater the offer, the greater the glory, not the reward you'll get. Some offer their most dire of possessions and to those I give a high place in my world to come. Fair or crooked, explain?

You do realize that without my giving you the ability to choose to make errors, you'd all be flavorless clones? Half your character and existence is owed too me. Give the devil his due.

If there was a Devil and you were it, I'd tell you to get stuffed.





Besides, only a fool would make a deal of any sort with a greater being, mythical or otherwise. If a being greater than you is asking for a deal, it's not for a good reason.

Why's that if the devil's purpose is to serve the greater good by providing the choice of error? If everyone were born perfect, they'd all be God, not unique individuals.
