Last March, while still employed, our HR lady retired. She had brought the Dallas Morning news paper into our break room every morning for decades. Suddenly everyone was watching things on their phones during breaks.

My wife had been playing Candy Crush and introduced me to the game.

Hello everyone. My name is d0g and I'm an addict.

I'm at level 3021, which hasn't been coded yet. I check daily like an addict thinking every pair of headlights is my dealer's car.

I tried Bubble Witch Saga. Didn't really like it. I guess it's time to get myself a life.
 
To me, it's just overrated saccharine garbage, and that King's games are all the same damn thing over and over again.

I prefer to play Bejeweled myself though, which is far better, haha :p

Hello, I'm Gina, and I'm on the wagon. I'm stuck at level...208. Yes, I own up to that much time wasting. This is even after I lost the app twice. Once to an update on my phone that put me back at under 100. Then again, when I got a new phone and my backup was corrupted. :( I was hooked enough to win my way back twice.

I haven't played in 6 months due to being stuck and figuring it was a good time to lose my obsession, but I will say in my defense (because all addicts have a defense), a great deal of that was during down time I wouldn't necessarily be doing something productive any way, i.e. traveling and such. :2razz:

If you had just checked in every day for the calendar and the free spin, you would be up to your chin in boosters by now.
There have been some levels that I doubt could be beaten without boosters. Two of them I intentionally didn't use boosters. Playing a level multiple times gets frustrating, but I wanted to see if it was possible.

The longest I played more than 50 times. Then, I got randomness to be on my side and completed it. Which begs the question: How random is the generator? And why after ten months of the free spin nearly every day, haven't I ever spun the jackpot? No matter how gently I get it to come to the jackpot, it always goes past to the coconut wheel. Every damn time.

Marginally. Both are mindless IMO and I haven't played either in years. I think I spent 5 minutes on Candy Crush before deciding it was too stupid and deleted it. At least I've played Bejeweled here and there over the years, although it never survives long either.

So then I just start a new one until the setup looks like it will work. After you play the same game a dozen times, you can kind of tell.
 
I've been through all of the solitaire games, even mastered freecell, but the coolest thing was going to +ma's reversing site.

I've only backed out a couple of times when I forgot to select a booster that I thought would be beneficial to completing the level. Restarting repeatedly to get a pat hand is something that I may try, if they write me some new levels.

I guess you could say backing out is my booster. :D I hate to waste "lives" on lost hand.

The game is so damned stupid! I mean, just as you're getting going you run into a level where the only way you can beat it is to get those striped candies but you can't make striped candies because there's no four of a kind options so you replay and replay and replay until you finally get the win and then you're fine for another few levels until they want some other crazy combo....

yeah, it's a little addictive some times.

I've hit the end probably three times now. Every other Tuesday is supposed to be the release days. I find myself engaged in other aspects of life during the down time.

So, yeah ++

Well, thanks! The current last level is 3020. If you see a ranking level icon in the upper left of the screen, you can click on that. I'll be #2 on there with a rank of 41. Some gal named Becca holds 1st with a 44. It's just how many times you have ranked up by getting stars. Every 5 ranks gives you a new frame around your avy.

If you click the center tab (levels), I'm number one. Becca drops to 8 and interestingly enough, my SIL JoAnne is in 2nd. It's a small world after all!


Today I helped Ellen find Allen. That's 6 levels that you have to beat using 1 life. Many boosters have come my way!

Someone mentioned Solitaire, has anyone tried “Churchill Solitaire?”

Bejeweled is cool. I'm at 1.3 million on my iPhone.
 
On May 16th 2018 at 2:20p CDST I uninstalled Candy Crush from my phone. The last level that I completed was 3343. I'm a new man! A man who kills time by Blasting Toons.

I hang out with Bruno Bear, Cooper Cat, and Wally Wolf. I'm at level 85 after two sessions. OOH-RAH!
