I'll Start,

I am a TroubleShooter / Mechanic, sometimes I fabricate my own parts, I'm usually the Alpha Male in the room, I study Survival so I can build shelters, farm, hunt, cook. Probably could make some Gillgans Island type machines lmao.

I can operate a firearm, am a mechanic, and can do everything you listed. The only problem I have is skinning and dressing the animal, I am terrible at it,and always find a way to mess it up, guess that is why I am not a butcher, can only imagine customers complaining why the cuts of meat are so messed up.

In terms of your scenario though it is with some fault, most of the power grid would go out but power would not be unproducable. An emp fries sensitive electronics but not crude electronics, meaning most modern power plants would fail, as would tv's computers etc. Newer cars would fail but older vehicles would still work with old points style distributors and possibly early electronic ignitions with crude analog computers. Power could be produced from old power plants but there are very few of those left that would be unnafected permanently by an emp, but small generators would still function so long as they were not sophisticated like inverter generators.

Wait........ Marijuana = "medicine"? I still get a kick out of that! These days its prescribed for almost every ailment known to man, woman, asexual person, non-binary person, and every other of NY's 31 legally recognized genders... Lol

It now reminds me of the bottled "patent medicine" sold out of the back of a chuck wagon in the 1880's..... I'm not necessarily against it being legal as an aid to reduce certain symptoms of certain ailments, but it's not a cure-all, as some are claiming.

Anyway, to the thread's subject, I can do pretty much all the stuff the OP listed, as I do a lot of it professionally. I also have about 30 years experience growing various plants, including vegetables and fruit, and ironically the 1st crop I ever grew(but haven't grown in 24 years), pot.

I don't hunt anymore, but I could if the absolute need arose, and I've done a lot of low temperature winter camping, hiking etc.
I still know quite a bit about first aid, etc.

Hmm...well, I won't debate you on the proven medicinal benefits of pot, since this is fun thread, so I'll just leave it at cool, more for us. With a Debbie Downer attitude like yours, at least we know who'll be getting laid more often in the post-Apocalyptic world. :lol:
