I did a quick search here but with over 1000 pages to look though......

Has there ever been a poll here on what member income levels are? Could it be made anonymous so that others don't get to see your personal business?

Post a poll, see what happens...

Curious to know why you want to know, though...seems like an interesting lead out, with less than 40 posts under your belt.

I think that would get skewed by all the young and retired people we have, seems to me that it would be better to quiz on class.

Besides, I have no idea why you'd think people would tell the truth about it and why it matters in the first place.

If it's anonymous there is no real reason to fib. The poll could be worded "What was your highest earning income during your working career." With some people railing me because I am thought of as a higher income earner it's a good idea to know what income level members here come from, so you can better understand their pov.

I'd also like to learn of members education level, employment background and overall class, maybe future polls. Yes I'm profiling, it's not a crime, the govt. does it, so it must be OK.

I doubt you’d get honest answers anyway, and no one needs to know others personal business.

Assuming you get sufficient responses, it would likely be a fairly normal bell curve.

You're probably correct. Other than social security and a few bucks interest and dividends, my income is zero.

Mine has more zeros ;)

And is just as valuable! Mine has scripture on the back. You know, if you want to attract people to something, might not want to piss them off like that! I have a 1978 1,000 dinar banknote from Yugoslavia. Might not be worth much but it is a historical piece.115px-YUD_1000_1981_obverse.jpg

I sure am glad I don't have to count on SS for income when I retire.

I may have joined yesterday, but I wasn't born yesterday.

in one way, it's an interesting study of how hyperinflation works, but mostly, it's just awful.

Yeah its weird that now they are worth more than they were issued just because they have become collectors pieces

Maybe but class is tricky. At various times in my life I have been (in UK terms) lower middle class, upper working class, upper middle class and now, as a pensioner, I'm definitely lower class.

There is no more anonymous. Given the data theft our enemies have engineered, they have more aggregated data collected from multiple sources than any one source ever had itself. You can even suppose that NSA has hacked those enemy aggregated sources to feed off of them to finger citizens who look suspicious. Data is data regardless of who's server it sits on.

So face it. You are ****ed.
