Connecticut Student Arrested After Allegedly Tainting Her Roommate’s Personal Items With ‘Bodily Fluids’ | KTLA

"After one and a half months of spitting in her coconut oil, putting moldy clam dip in her lotions, rubbing used tampons on her backpack, putting her toothbrush places where the sun doesn't shine and so much more, I can finally say goodbye to 'Jamaican Barbie,"

It never ceases to amaze me how nasty some people can be.

We can all speculate as to motivation for this behavior but no matter what the reason....just DAMN!!

The university doctors identified the "bad bacteria" but didn't tell her where such bacteria could be found? A simple "this bacteria is typically found in feces" would have tipped off the victim. And the other student faces some light charges considering that this was an ongoing situation that caused someone else to become ill. The University is lucky that there aren't charges being filed for negligence.

All I can say is, I've been quite fortunate with my roommates and friends so far. That all sounds too crazy to possibly be true.

Yeah. "Criminal mischief" and "Breach of the Peace" seem a little light.

Yeah, thank god my roommate is not insane like this bitch.

No! Don't try and make me paranoid, Jesse!

Your roommate could be defiling your hygiene products as we speak. Who knows what they're putting in your toothpaste? It could be all kinds of things, that strong minty flavor will mask a lot of stuff! Just fill a syringe with drain cleaner, and pop a couple of pockets of poison down inside the tube...

Sounds like a great idea, Jesse. ;)

and folks here @ DP thought I was bad ............ .........

One of my room mates used to steal my food.

So I poisoned him.

There's nothing wrong with poisoning your own food. It's not your fault your housemate ate something that didn't belong to him.

ayyyyy, does your college also have a commuter lounge? Mine does, and that place is great.

Oh, I think we mean different things...

My college is ONLINE (and not a diploma mill). So you could say my commuter lounge is my couch/living room.

I'm a commuter.

As a grandma these days I am really glad my two oldest grandchildren commute too. They both still live at home. Free room and board, cell phones, cars, books and a portion of their tuition paid by mom and dad. They both also earned scholarships. They both put in at least 20 hours a week at a job in their hometown while carrying a full academic schedule to help pay their own way. Grandson #1 graduates next Spring and as it stands with a 4.0 and no debt. Granddaughter will graduate in Spring of 2019. She currently is carrying a 3.8 and as it stands she too will have minimal debt when she graduates. And grandchild #3 will start college in Fall of 2018 and follow the same path his brother and sister did. He is a senior, plays football and works in their hometown after school at least 15 hours a week and saving his money.

I think the greatest thing for any student is to be unburdened of debt upon graduation. And that doesn't happen unless your daddy's name is Warbucks or you have parents doing everything possible to assist while the child also contributes whether it be through earning scholarships or working a job. And that can only be achieved when a parent instills the values to achieve such a thing.

The university (which has expelled Brianna Brochu) and the police wanted her to be charged with a hate crime.
Roommate from hell’s sick sabotage involved bloody tampons, licked utensils | New York Post

I like how at the end she inserts her moronic views, "If the roles was switched..."

Ugh, I despise ghetto English and the idea of systemic racism. Victim is a total ****ing clown (not that this excuses the behavior of that disgusting wench who rubbed the victim's toothbrush on her vagina)

On Oct. 18, Rowe was asked to sign a “no contact agreement,” meaning that she would have no communication with Brochu. Rowe says that the school threatened to remove her from campus if she was caught talking about what happened to her.
Sounds like the university definitely needs to be charged for negligence now. Trying to intimidate the victim into remaining silent is absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know what the heck is going on with that link...

In this case I think the victim is correct. Those charges are weak sauce all things considered. Also I see you're from Connecticut. What kind of school is U-HARTFORD?

After stating that the school had "strictly and swiftly followed all procedural and legal processes," President Woodward said that claims to the contrary were based on misinformation. From the NY Times:

Mr. Woodward followed up on Wednesday with the statement announcing Ms. Brochu’s expulsion. That statement clarified the timeline, saying that the school’s public safety department became involved on Oct. 17 and that the case was turned over to the local authorities early the next day.

Molly Polk, a spokeswoman for the university, said that the school had followed its standard procedures, immediately referring the case to the police. She said that Mr. Woodward had not been accusing Ms. Rowe of spreading misinformation in his initial statement, and that he was instead referencing the almost instantaneous reaction to the video among people on social media.

Polk went on to say that while the residential staff had asked Rowe not to act on her own, “their intention was never to try to keep her quiet.” That's not quite honest; of course, they didn't want this student taking this to social media.
