Anyone love Halloween like I do? Since the beginning of September, I've been to 3 haunted houses (not the ghost tour ones). I live here in Ohio, and I found out that my state has the most haunted attractions in the country, so around this time of year for me is an awesome time to do stuff. If you live in Ohio or heard about some of the places I'm about to mention, I've been to Land of Illusion in Middletown, Dent Schoolhouse in Cincinnati, and one of 2 local haunted houses (Haunted Ghost Town) here where I live (Findlay). This Friday, I'm going to Haunted Hoochie in Pataskala.

Next week, I have a few days off from work, and I was thinking about going to the Mansfield Reformatory (Blood Prison is what they call it) in Mansfield, the Lewisburg Haunted Cave in Lewisburg (made a world record as the longest haunted attraction), the Haunted Orchard in Wooster, and Haunted Hydro in Fremont.

A couple other ones I would like to go to are Planet X in Maumee, the Hammer Brothers' Haunted Circus for an event called The Hunt in Waynefield, and the other local haunt Purgatory here in Findlay. I'm open to suggestions. The ones I have been to have all been fun in their own ways, if anyone was wondering what I thought about the ones I had already been to. If anyone has been doing anything similar, please let us know.

Thanks guys

Where I used to live, the local train museum had a section of track where they gave rides - around Halloween, they had haunted trains at night. A little different and lotsa fun but unfortunately pretty far from Ohio.

If you're willing to travel, you might try Dead Man's Farm in the Knoxville area of East Tennessee.

It's possible to bring real evil into your life through these simulations. Be careful.

I used to love haunted houses. Halloween was unnecessary for them as we used to have a lot of abandoned "haunted" houses scattered about. Most have been demolished or have fallen down by now though. Not really in the Halloween mood yet. Unseasonably warm here. Supposed to be close to 90 in a few days when it should be leaf raking weather.

Went on a weekend trip to Kansas City and went to a haunted house called the Beast. It was a little pricey ($27 each) but it lasted about 45 minutes and we all had a great time so it was worth it. Since I had only been to local ones it was nice to go to something new and not know what was coming next.

That does not sound like something you would be able to support at all. In fact, that concept does not sound rational at all. Can you support that claim?

Think of it as playing GTA for hours on end. Eventually it will get in your head.

Evil [even simulated] can do the same.

So you attempt to back up one unsupported claim with another unsupported claim.

I wouldn't worry and I will be careful. It's all in good fun, and honestly it's to take my mind off the already airing, and annoying, Christmas commercials.

My OP said it was possible. You in the mood to argue that?

And the link I put forth said there is no evidence that happens.
