So F-ing mad

I still do not understand "breaking a TV." Ya turn it on or off or leave it on all day and night. Whichever of the three does not matter. They don't just break. WTF?

[emoji38] Get 'im. If (when) you take him to small claims court, also claim court costs, and try to claim wages lost for having to show up in court.
Lol im a pitbull i just march to the beat of a different drummer. I work from a different kind of value system.

I know im drunk now for the story im about to share. When i was a kid a girl asked me to get her sime happy smoke. I gave the dude her money and he ripped me off. I made her right because she entrusted with her money.

The guy who ripped me off i got back at in a very diabolical way. Rather than chase after him for my money i kidnapped his girlfreinds cat and let her nag the **** out of him until i agreed to give him back her cat.

I not only made him pay me what he owed me. I taxed him for forcing my hand and i charged him bording fees. He ended up paying me 100 for the 25 he stole.

Most twisted part of the story i took such good care of that cat it ended up liming me more than her. That wound never goes away.

My roommate has 24hrs to come up with a solution or im gonna do some twisted **** like that to him and his.

Well sure it would be nice to have more information and I would like to think that DoubleTrouble here is fact certain that the TV is junk, cause if this is not so than this thread has bigger problems than we think it might....

They can claim it o. Their insurance and i think thats their plan.

It's your house and your TV, right? Keep it simple. If the roomers have insurance, then your insurance co will go after their insurance company for you. Your company will just drop it if they are indigent.

You mentioned "getting whole". That is how you do it.

What would be fair, and what you would receive in small claims court, is the value of what your used TV was , if you'd sold it on Craig's List and asked them for that. Just sayin...
The tv costs anout 2k. The monument im not sure small claims will reinburse me for so im asking for gofundme contributions. Im thinking going Trump on this huge and gawdy. As much as your donations can afford. It will am american made monument constructed from american mayerials.

If its a new TV would it still be under warranty from the store where you bought it from?

You're going to put up a gofundme page to try to convince strangers they should pay for your TV? Well, now I know why I never go there. And now? I've heard everything.

If they wont pay up, take them to small claims court.

That's a pretty ****ty thing holding out on telling you the whole time. That's a big deal, and anyone righteous would want to clear the air as soon as it was appropriate to do so,

As to how to handle it, I wouldn't go knocking 'em back hard, allowing you to make an error in judgement tonight.

How'd they break it? Is it repairable? And yeah, they do owe you the coin even if they're broke.

Yep- my kid broke it, means they pay for it.

Im not bound by a lease and im considering that, not only because of this but other stuff too. The thing about that is even though he would deserve that im not that person and im not sure this warrants me abandoning my own ethics to satiate mu thirst for pay back. But yeah its crossed my mind

If you decide to move, do it when they are not around, and say nothing and leave nothing behind. This guy sounds like a freaking idiot. her as well.

Yeah i think she will. Tomorrow calmer heads will prevail. Right now its fresh and im pissed. They should of reached out immeadiately but that opprotunity has come n gone. I rent from them so worst case scenerio i wont being rent for awhile

Oh I getcha mang, I'd be pissed too.

No its not repairable i dont think. They damaged the display so the picture is screwed.

Drinks are actually soothing the beast right now. Im not mad about the tv. Im upset about that but stuff happens. I know it wasnt on purpose but how they handled it is the bulk of my anger.

I shared some choice words with them and left. Tomorrow is a new day and i will give them an opprotunity to make things right. If they dont i will make things right for them.

Get first in line for their EIC tax refund.

Is this guy your roommate? Does he pay you rent? And then you pay the landlord? Are you permitted to sublet? This guy has tenants rights regardless. You'd better know where you stand legally or, if you're at all concerned about your credit rating, you could jeopardize it big time. If he stops paying to the landlord or to YOU for that matter, or you didn't have the landlord's permission to sublet and you bail leaving the landlord with the problem.

If you decide to move, be sure to give him at least thirty days notice. Do it by text to memorialize it. And take pictures three days before you move and after you leave to prove condition of the home I say three days before so that, if the guy's a slob, he may withhold your security deposit (if you paid one) and try to blame you with "after pictures" by showing his own mess.
