Conversion of garbage men to recycle men. No more garbage. Increase the recapturing of landfills, gaining metals and natural gas, for starters.

Give homeless metal scrappers more outlets and better prices, and continue to keep them off the income tax grid ...

Good idea but, since covered containers abound, yours would have to be special perhaps having a "ColPac" (or something similar) fit perfectly in a special bottom compartment and have a see through lid that easily flips open/closed (but won't blow off) with one hand (your plate is in the other).

Yep, I have. I'm talking about a food container that would hook on the deck rail like planter boxes do. But THIS would be an EXCELLENT substitution for ice.
