We were planning a family vacation to Sint Maarten next October. I'm seriously reconsidering. After the photos I've seen of the damage, I'm wondering how much will be rebuilt in a year.
First thing that comes to mind is that their tourist industry is so vitally important that they will do everything humanly possible to rebuild. I don't blame you for reconsidering, though because humans can only do so much. Fortunately, you have some time to reconsider.
