So, my last class of the day got cancelled 30 minutes before it started because of a gas leak. So thankfully, that incident gave me more time to get a ghost shrimp before they ran out completely (they apparently run out really fast). My friend (the guy I mentioned in the other thread) was nice enough to give me a ride there. I named him Alfred, half-becuase I like Batman, and half because I just think it's such a great name.

Hopefully Nowi (my beta fish) won't decide to eat him.

EDIT: It's sideways. Booooo.

Why did you name your friend Alfred? Didn't he already have a name before you met him?

;)

He's the butler to her beta fish.

Dayem, I initially thought this was another hurricane!

But I soon remembered the next one begins with 'J' ...

Looks delicious

It depends on the betta. Some couldn't care less. Some eat ghost shrimp for lunch. A lot of it has to do with the size of your tank, the more room you have, the more hiding places you have for the shrimp, the better your chances are. But I knew someone who had a betta in a 10-gallon aquarium with a couple of ghost shrimp for a long time, then one day, the betta just shredded the shrimp for no real reason. You just never know.

I'm waiting for the video: "When shrimp go bad!"
