Holy freaking Hurricane!

My mom just texted me this morning. My aunt is okay (thank ****ing goodness). Her house is completely flooded, though. And my parents are still trapped in the house, as it's still flooding outside like crazy. But my mom said that she was thankful that my sister and I aren't there to see any of it (my sister went up to Scurry last weekend to visit one of her best friends that moved, and she's not coming back until the hurricane is over). And I've been checking on my friends that live down in my area, and they've been doing fine for the most part as well. Although one of my friends is also trapped in her neighborhood, due to flooding. This whole situation sucks. Thankfully I haven't heard of anyone else in my family that's in danger.

But I've been having a great time in college, despite the constant rain over here. I haven't met all of my professors yet, but the one's I met yesterday seem like pretty nice people. I was able to talk to a few people in my classes, too.

Greetings, TheGoverness. :2wave:

Are you getting any of the weather that Houston is suffering? The hurricane looks HUGE!

At the very most, we're just getting constant rain and wind over here. Nothing too serious, although it's apparently supposed to get worst Wednesday, according to what someone told me.
