Ever had a small household battery die, late at night, no stores open. Put it in the fridge for 1/2 hr, usually provides a charged up battery good for a day or 2.

In the Army, when possible we kept batteries in fridges. Extends their life
Another tip
Never by expensive batteries- buy the cheapest. You end up saving over the long term

Did you know that if you are choking on an ice cube, you can quickly and efficiently dissolve the obstruction by drinking a gallon of boiling water?

Attics and crawlspaces are often dusty and mildewy. If you have allergies you can avoid potential asthma attacks by installing your insulation in open, airy spaces, such as your front lawn or your driveway.

If your cat jumps on the kitchen table, simply coat it in lighter fluid. When kitty looks about to jump up, simply light the table on fire and say "NO" in a stern voice. After rebuilding your home, your cat will stay on the floor where it belongs.
