I am really not a 'spelling or grammar nazi.' But there are some blatant and reoccurring lapses on this board. When I scan the written word, some, not all, errors jump off the screen. Aside from typos, when is it prudent to bring up these items. 'To err is human', I understand this. Since we are all mostly anonymous there are only a few ways to interpret our fellow posters. There is the choice of avatar and the accompanying description. And then there are the posts, both in content and how they are written. What is considered 'cricket?'

'cricket' ? I'm not familiar with that expression... Care to elaborate please ? (I tried Google, didn't help)

"Too" err is human, eh?

It's certainly an odd expression in this context, I find.

I would say never. The forum rules would say that posting about someones grammar or spelling is off topic.

What, exactly, do you consider to be an "error" in a post? If I state that a post (like yours) is unclear is that a posting error on my part or simply not cricket? ;)

You seem to be the only one that finds the post unclear. I wouldn't consider your finding the post 'unclear', to be an 'error.'

Really? I have yet to see a reply as to what is 'cricket' or what is a posting 'error'. ;)

That might indicate some confusion.

Post # 6 & 7 might shed some light on 'cricket.' You can lead a horse to water...........re:post # 6 & 7.

Error as in beauty, is in the eye of the beholder......It's like dog waste, hard to describe, you'll know when you step in it..

Since you are the 'quick reply' guy, I will reach the conclusion that you are 'up to speed' on the cricket reference?

OK, then what makes a post beautiful or ugly is totally subjective. I agree, thus we have discussed that enough. ;)

So you know about cricket? There seemed to be two issues we were discussing........
