Thinking about an MBA

Do you have any advice about the GMAT? Did you use anything to study with? Was the exam easier or harder than expected?

I bought the official study guide/books. Definitely useful. It's more about practice than learning anything really.

Honestly I feel from your posts and the fact that you're on this forum in the first place you'll be absolutely fine with the verbal part.

The 'mini-essay' is pretty easy if you do your research, look up some sample essays that got full marks online and copy the style exactly. It's fairly formulaic, but stick to the formula and you should do well in it.

Don't underestimate the math side. I figured that because my undergrad was in a STEM field I would breeze through but I got lower marks on it than on the verbal. They're multiple choice but they're looking to trip you up.

Good luck!
