This week my 19 year old granddaughter moved in with her boyfriend of 6 months. My kind and thoughtful friends at work took ten seconds to say, hey you could be a great grandfather any day now. I'm kind of surprised. He's a solid guy, and also a solid southern baptist. I wouldn't be surprised if she talked him into it to get at her dad. It's a bit of disfunction junction around here.

Well, I'd rather she be married, but she's been going out with this guy for a while now....The one thing I told her last night, as we all settled down a little, was that "well, they'd better be looking for a place to live, because we will absolutely babysit, and enjoy them, but can't live here..." lol

Congrats grandpa! ;)

My stepdaughter just had a baby making me a grandma at 35 .... it's definitely a weird experience when the baby has a baby and yes makes you feel old. Just wait though when that baby comes out, it's just amazing.
