Favorite Coffee Company

Just got into coffee about a year ago and I was wondering what is your favorite coffee company.

For me it is Black Rifle Coffee. BLACK RIFLE COFFEE COMPANY – Black Rifle Coffee Company not only is their coffee awesome (their CAF medium roast is my favorite). It is a small business ran by veterans and portion of their profits go to Gun, Police and Veteran right groups.

Whatever whole beans Costco has on hand at the time. Don't think I've gotten a bad one yet. I get a lot of the San Francisco Bay coffee beans there.

Naw, Starbucks is bad coffee and a bad company.;) I work 10 mins away from their HQ, so I'm stuck in Starbucks country.

If that were true, they'd have gone out of business long ago. ;)

I buy the occasional cup of Starbucks, but their bagged coffe is just way too expensive. I also refuse to use their idiotic size terms, and just order a "small coffee". Definitely not into all the over priced foo foo drinks. But, to each their own.

I understand they pay a decent wage and benefits. And, they obviously don't discriminate against purple haired tattooed human pin cushions. :D

My wife calls it The Mother Ship.

She works there.

What will likely be my biggest party of the year is Saturday, it will be all Starbucks people.

I am calling it "The Nothing But Miles Party" because the soundtrack is all Miles Davis.

Must people just don't know good coffee and like the left leaning political stands the company does all the time. Well see how things go since Howard Schultz is planning to step down from the company.

Aye yi yi. People know what they like, most don't need others to tell them what "good coffee" is.

Are me and Hawkeyes lefty's who "like the left leaning political stands the company does all the time"? C'mon man, use your noggin.

I guess I am lucky, but one could say that one makes one's own luck often... I live here in the mountains of Panama where they grow some great stuff... so fresh sometimes you can buy a pound and its still warm....

Have two friends that grow and roast but even better than theirs is Cafe Tute', $5 a pound and yummmmmmmmMMMmmmmy. But if you ever get to Colombia, do try almost anything at their Juan Valdez [yes, there was an actual Juan ] coffee shops. Depending on which shop you go to, I absolutely love their cappuccinos, omg good.

Where I live, there are a couple of local roasters, that do organic free trade coffee. It's a bit more expensive, but the quality is worth it. I have a 6 cup french press that I grind beans up every morning and use. My favorite variety tends to be the Sumatran medium roast, It's a very low acid variety.

I like Sumatran dark if I can find it. Generally Peets, Starbucks, Caribou, whatever's on sale.
