When you take a shower and/or bath, do you like the water hot, cold, or somewhere in between?

I love it hot, so hot that I can barely stand it and it takes a couple seconds to adjust. Just so relaxing to sit in a hot tub or let the hot water rain on me. :2razz:

I know it's supposed to be that cold showers are better for you but I just can't stand anything less than hot. How about everyone else?

I like it hot too.. and when it comes to you and showers, I can not think of anything but HOT HOT HOT.

I like my shower and bath water like I like my Cajun food - hot, hot, hot.

I like it 111-112 degrees.
 
I know the Romans basically perfected hot baths, but it took fairly modern technology to
send that hot water, under pressure spraying out.
I think hot running water is one of the great human advancements in history.
 
Hot. Even when it's 120 degrees I want a hot shower.
 
I like it hot until the last 30 seconds, then I turn it on cold to cool off before I get out. Reduces the steam, the sweat and feels like jumping into a pool after a jacuzzi.

Sometimes I like it hot, sometimes I do not...
 
Depends on the shower.

Usually I like it hot but if I've just been at the gym or something there's nothing quite like a warmish shower that just has a tinge of cold water in there to freshen you up.
 
Bath: approaching scalding

Shower: Either moderately hot or very cold. Depends...

hot, but not scalding. occasionally, i'll take a tepid shower, but only if i just got done mowing and it's 90+ degrees F.

In winter warm! In summer cold!
 
Most of the time I like it hot. Hot enough to sting slightly is my preferred temperature.

The exception is when I'm really hot and sweaty for some reason. I just finished working out, or doing yard work on a hot day or something. Then I want a cool shower.

I love my hot shower. It's my escape and relaxation spot for the day. If you are in bed, you can be woken. But in a shower... people leave you alone. I wash down then lean up against the wall and let the hot water just rain down and let my mind wander away from work and worries.

Nothing like a cold outside shower when it's 95 degrees, or a hot one inside when it's 60.


indoors, meh. whatever.


Outdoor showers are the ****.
 
In the summer I like it lukewarm to cool depending on how hot I am, I am known to also turn it down to cold right at the end and stand right under it, uncomfortably cold.

In winter I tend to like it warm to almost hot, depending upon how cold the house is, we set it all the way down to 63 at night.
