Police are on their way over here

Wow, freaky.

But I (ironically) might have some solace due to the PCP angle.

I knew a couple guys that got into it when it first surfaced as a recreational drug in the 70's, and in my city it was originally called THC - since it was initially peddled in my area as synthetic THC (canabas derivative). The guys that did it were called THC heads (pronounced "TICK"). No one at that time knew what it was.

Well I swear, I never saw a more mind-**** drug than that ****! I'm serious! And I remember real Quaaludes and real "Orange Sunshine" acid! But I've *never* seen anything zone-out anyone, like PCP. It's insane.

So what I'm saying is, the guy was likely totally out-of-it, it was an odd chance encounter, and you and him will likely never cross paths again, with him not remembering any details.

That's if he was PCP'ed-out, which from your description I suspect he was.

It's sad that I saw the topic, saw the person who posted it, and skipped to the end of the post to see what the bad punchline was going to be....

...then I was amazed it was actually serious. Glad it all worked out alright dana.

Police are on their way over here. Someone knocked on my door, and when I opened it, he asked for something, but I didn't understand what he was saying. I thought he was asking for cigarettes. I gave him 2. He gave them back and said, very aggressively "No, sherms, sherms". I didn't understand that, so finally he said "PCP, gimme some PCP". Then he flashed this huge wad of cash in front of me. I told him that I don't sell drugs, and I don't use drugs. I also told him that drugs would end up killing him. I then slammed the door in his face, and called the cops. While on the phone, the dispatcher told me that "sherms" was slang for PCP. Anyways, waiting for the cops to show up.

There is also the possibility that he flashed the wad of cash in an attempt to get me to undo the security latch and open the door so he could invade. That would have gotten him killed. I had my gun ready to shoot him, which is why I wasn't afraid of him. Still shaking a bit, though. LOL.

I have been in this neighborhood for three and a half years, and this is only the second incident where I felt threatened enough to pull my gun.

Those incidences suck. [having to pull your gun]

Sucks man. I had a guy knocking on my door a couple weeks ago asking me for money at like 1130 at night. They all have a story. Glad your good.

I just wanted some PCP man, I was trying to finish a plumbing project and the hardware stores were closed. You didn't have to be a dick about it.

But in seriousness, I'm glad you're OK man.

Lol

I remember that term from my youth in SoCal. Never used the stuff myself, but knew of a few who did. Nasty s***. I guess they would apply the drug to Sherman cigarillos, which would then be smoked for the effect. Glad you're ok, let us know how it turns out.

Had the same thing happen to me. Went to the door with my gun, one of only two times and don't remember the second. He didn't ask twice. Called the cops.

No thanks. I don't smoke. It is bad for me. Got any PCP?
