Do you expect an assassination or assassination attempt of a high profile politician during the Trump Administration era?

There is certainly a lot of hate paired with high stakes and unreconciled ideology out there.
 
There will be the usual crackpots that never get seriously close like have happened with every President since Reagan. But I doubt any of them will get close.

There is a lot of anger and divide out there. However, I am not sure that will happen. It didn't happen under bush, it didn't happen to Obama. As a matter of fact, Reagan is the last sitting president that actually got shot, and that was in 1981. Since 1841, presidents have been dying in office every 10 to 25 years, but that hasn't happened since 1963... (54 years ago), with the last 'close' assassination attempt being 36 years ago.

I would prefer legal means of removing people from office, such as invocation of the 25th amendment, or impeachment, or for that matter, elections.

What do you mean? Do you mean to suggest leftwingers now fantasize while masturbating about assassinating a high profile politician... sort of a "Gateway Activity"? I can remember an Iraqi reporter attacking GW Bush with a shoe.... and during the Reagan era, rightwing nutcase Hinkley, fantasizing about impressing Jodie Foster, shot Reagan and Press Secretary, James Brady. Former Speaker of the House, 1999-2007, Republican Dennis Hastert resides in a prison right now not for the teenage boys he molested but for the hush money he attempted to pay one of them to keep the truth from seeping out. How about we stick to the truth instead of fantasy?

You probably didn't know anything at all about Arthur Bremer until you read my thread. You have unwittingly chosen an ad hominem attack... criticize the messenger and attribute motive to the message without a shred of evidence. This displays smugness, not subject knowledge or intelligence.

Moon, a chasm of disdain separates us. I don't need a box of tissues. A Trump Administration enhances my personal prospects. If we could divide the U.S. populace into two broad categories.... those that "Have" and those that "Do Not", almost by any measure imaginable, I fit into the "Have" category. For example I work as a self-employed real estate broker, primarily buying real estate for cash, improving it and reselling. I own a 2016 car debt free, a country club home debt free. My oldest daughter, 27, earned under-graduate and graduate civil engineering degrees from GA Tech with Highest Honors. She married a Princeton kid with a GA Tech graduate degree. He works as a Scientist for the EPA. These kids want a starter home in the 800+K range. I would like an Administration truly intent on setting policies that grow our middle class. I believe the Trump Administration has underlying motives...much like you thought I did with my OP. We have had massive government gridlock for years. Trump represents a huge "change element". I have not pulled out any lucky charms to wish harm or an assassination attempt on Trump or any other high profile politician. Congratulations to you and all Trump supporters on a stunning victory! God Bless us all.

I am not a Trump supporter. I did not vote for him or any other candidate for President this year. My objection to your OP is your apparent thinly veiled fantasy of someone trying to kill our President. That's not something I would ever even remotely entertain, regardless of who holds that office. It's just really sad that people would stoop to that level, even if their intent is to only "ask the question".
