This Christmas I didn't ask for much, but I got pretty much everything that I asked for.

I got Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Xenoblade Chronicles X, a portable charger, new Skullcandy earbuds, a giant tub of peppermints, and a ton of new clothes.

What about you guys?

Spanish sweets

Hawaiian shirt

A set of ties

My son gave me a bundle of twigs from the garden :doh

A bottle of Laphroaig

I got a summer sausage and cheese gift pack from my daughter and granddaughters. That's it. :D Oh, I almost forgot, my wife's friend gave us a big tub of candy.

My wife and I don't get gifts for each other, haven't for years. It's a tradition, and one I am grateful for. :)

Are you my grandchild?

I got a box of snicker doodles from one of my daughters

A couple of ties from the other one

My wife bought me two new sport coats...one a great tweed, and the other one a really nice cashmere black one

With the new job...back to suit and tie again, so I needed a few new things in that department

I got my wife an iPhone 7, and a mothers ring....

Bought one of my daughters a new sewing machine....and the other one got a trip to NYC to see a play she has wanted to see for 2 years

And the gifts to the grandkids are too numerous to mention....but my favorite is the huge steel tonka trunk....with that he will be able to build the Great Wall of china. Lol

Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and joyous holiday from me and my family

I got the bill.

I got mainly sweets this year. I don't have a family of my own and both parents are gone, so I don't give/get as much as most other folks. My favorite gift this year (all from the same friend) was steaks and a wonderful assortment of homemade cookies! :2dance:

Yep, that's pretty close to a perfect gift for a guy, imo.

Thanks. I knew I was getting the juicer so had stocked up for it, but forgot to get the ginger root and beets and so many of the best recipes call for both. So tomorrow. But I'm saving your recipe.

Borgen-Season 3
Homeland-Season 3 and Season 4
Captain Philips
The Knick-Season 2

A newsboy's cap, but unfortunately, I keep striking out with correct fits on these things.
A Guiness long-sleeve shirt straight from Ireland
An Ireland Rugby uniform, again, straight from Ireland
Beef jerky

But most importantly: contributed to the spoiling of my nephews and got my mom a start on a long-term project.

Don't worry about it, both ingredients take some getting used to. In fact, too much fresh beet juice will make you nauseous. And ginger root tastes like furniture polish.
