Hanukkah has just begun, so happy Hanukkah. In a few hours, it will be Christmas, so Merry Christmas. Also, to my many Muslim and Bah'ai' friends, Happy Prophet's Day.

My fervent wish for the holidays is the release of Jamal Khanjani, the Bah'ai' leader in Iran, from prison. His brother, Kamal Khanjani, is one of my best friends in real life, and I know this would make him very happy. :)

Final note: We all have the same God, so let us all rejoice together. :)

Happy Holidays to you as well Dan! :)

Happy Holidays ALL!

I have greatly enjoyed my year here, it is a big step up from my last home, though there were at the start a lot of great people there too. The place kind of crapped out, mostly because its owner is an idiot. I have complaints about DP and knowing me I will likely keep grumbling about what annoys me but it is the best I have found so far.

THANK YOU

Merry Christmas ! A Jewish guy I know reports his Christmas tree fell over on top of all the presents this evening. He reckons it was the Hanukkah angel!

Evening folks, I would like to take this time to say Happy Holidays to all of you.

Do you know the word "holiday" is derived from the words "holy days"?

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah. A recognition of a great miracle of G-d to his people. One that I recognize that happened. I do have a Menorah burning and will throughout Hanukkah.

I also have my house decorated in lights and a tree full of lights. I am also celebrating a festival of lights in celebratiton of the birth of the Messiah.

You know when I was growing up there were two different Christmases. My mother celebrated it on December 25th. My father's family in January. So I grew up having two Christmases.
They were completely different. One had a tree the other did not. One had gift giving and the other did not. One had a strict dietary menu and the other did not. You know I am thankful for all the exposure to different ways. Today I incorporate elements from all of them in our celebration. And every so many years the family will do a gathering in January.

So Happy Holidays to all at D.P.
