Getting my wedding ring re-sized... I smashed my ring finger between two panels of my garage door as I was closing it one day this summer. It flattened out my finger so much that my wedding ring no longer fits. In the last 4 months, it hasn't returned to normal, so my wedding ring really needs to be re-sized. Yeah, I'm easy to please...

After 4 months, it still hurts and my fingernail is finally starting to look like it's going to grow back. I was just pulling the door down and my finger slipped between the panels. With a 2 car garage door, it took a couple of seconds to stop it and get it back up, so the gap between the panels was completely closed at one point. Took a lot of long, deep breaths, packed it in ice and spent the next couple of hours with it elevated. My wife wanted me to go the ER and have it checked, but I declined...
 
Well, mostly if I want something bad enough I just buy it, if the price isn't outrageous, so I'm not easy to Santa for.


Right now, I have a great jones for a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield compact .45 like so:

Unfortunately none of my nearest and dearest has that kind of money to spend, so I'll probably have to be my own Santa. :)
