With my grandma it was always both pumpkin and mincemeat, when I was feeding soldiers it was pumpkin and pecan. I actually thought till this year that I dont like pecan pie till I found out that the problem was that I have never had a good one.

It is not Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

French silk pie from Bakers Square. Mmmm

i probably like blueberry the best. apple and pumpkin pies are right up there.

I was asked to have lemon meringue, so I did! Added it to the three you listed, and everybody was happy!

Pumpkin hands down. It's not thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. Pumpkin is not my favorite but the thread was titled "best thanksgiving pie".

Sweet potato pie.

Pumpkin is supposed to be traditional but Ive never liked it- too bland.

Pecan for me is the best, warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.

mincemeat....my absolute favorite pie ever.

I have to get the jar of filler and a frozen pie shell and top to make it though.

It is not liked very much, kinda like me.

But it is pure heaven when you put a little butter on top and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before you bake it.

Have you tried the old fashioned version with beef and brandy?

THis was very good....only did it once though, as I was about the only one who would eat it.

And it is some work.

i like just about any kind of Pie. The ones I am not fond of is cow pie and humble pie.

Agree! And pumpkin pie is why God inspired humans to invent whipped cream in a spray can - they just go together so well!

They do go together well! But depending on the pie I don't always use it. Store bought, I typically do. Home made, not so much. It's so good home made, at least my family's homemade, that it doesn't need anything else :)

I like a little bit of pumpkin pie with my Cool Whip.

My fav is apple, but pumpkin and mince-meat for Thanksgiving and Christmas are a must. Blueberry in the summer, Pecan pie in the fall.

Oh hell.... I'll admit it. I love all pie.

Pecan pie FTW.

Okay....I can live with the spray can whipped cream......only because the grandkids have fun with it, though.
Heavy cream whipped with an electric mixer is far superior to the canned stuff.

Cool whip????
Ghastly concoction.
Is there anything remotely related to cream in Cool Whip?

OMFG, I can't believe I forgot to give a shoutout to the best pie in the world.

Sweet Potato Pie. Yum!
