Anyone doing any Black Friday shopping?

One of my Facebook friends just said she ran into Walmart to get just one thing. She saw pushing and hair-pulling. Bunch of animals.

I did a little online shopping today when stores began their sales. You?
 
I was informed this evening that I will be going to Best Buy tomorrow. I wasn't planning on it and don't recall ever shopping on Black Friday before but I guess there's a first time for everything.
 
A while back (15 or so years ago) when my boys were very young, Yes Ma'am and I got up early and made our way to the local mall at 5am to stand in line so we could get the latest thing that there were only two of in the entire county, for my two boys. We got them. We ran, dodged, fell, ran some more, got pushed and pushed back, cursed and got cursed, and almost got arrested. But, as I said, we got them.

I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!
 
I think Black Friday shopping as far as extended hours from Thanksgiving evening into early hours on Friday should be made illegal.
 
Not this year, but today I did do some online shopping for a family member who could use some snow village pieces.
 
Heck no. Mostly its just the world's biggest bait-and-switch. Not a chance.


Especially not with a gimp leg just the now.
 
I never leave the house on Black Friday.
 
I worked last night, and I work today. About to leave actually. Wish me luck! :lol:

Just got back from Best Buy and, frankly, it wasn't bad at all. While it was a little busier than usual it was a long way off from being a "mob" and we were able to get in and out without any trouble.
 
Oh hell no. I understand there are deals, but there's no thing - gift, or not - worth that amount of trouble.
 
Nope. I will not go into a mall or major store until after Christmas. All of my Christmas shopping is done online and is already complete.
